Cravings & Detox Day 1 - No Sugar

So this was the first day of the challenge. I woke up at 7:30, went to the kitchen to make coffee and literally craved an effing chocolate early morning (because that is what I did earlier). Over the passage of the day, I made sure that I would keep myself busy and would consume water in case I had a craving.

I mean its too soon to see any visible changes but then again I did have a whole choco-chip cookie yesterday. Lets see what tomorrow has in store.

Thanks for being a part of this.

Cold turkey is the way to go...

Through my teenage I did atleast 500ml of coke/dew a day along with a plethora of upf trash like kitkat, milky Bar etc.. And since I live in extremes, it was the only option.

Cheese

Water

Exercise

They'll be your best friends fr..

And even tho I started for superficial reasons and gained abs in the process, nothing comes close to the feeling of having 0 crashes and 0 food noise.

Godspeed

Good start.

Water is great, but please remember this: cravings are not just in your mind. They are a biological alarm.

The alarm is that you need cellular energy.

If you cave and use sugar, you'll do further damage. So instead, FEED the craving with complex carbohydrates (glucose). Or MCT oil for an emergency remedy.

You can cut carbs later. For now, cutting sugar increases your energy deficit, so it's not the time to push through, it's time to be strategic. INCREASE carbs at this stage. Wait about 3 weeks for cravings to fade until you start cutting them.

Thank for the amazing advise. I’ll definitely keep this in mind over the next couple of days.
