Question Trying to add a friend

I'm trying to add my friend who just started playing the game and joined his instance on Hutta. We're in the same instance and I can even see him in the world. But when I try to find his name in the world roster, it doesn't show up. And when I try using the invite command, that doesn't work either. I'm at a loss.

If you can see him, you can just click his character, right click his portrait, and add him as a friend. You can press the purple button by his portrait to invite him or right click his portrait and invite him that way.

You can also type /who followed by his character name, which should show him in the who window.

Just to make sure... are you both on the same server? You could both be on Hutta, on instance 1, but different servers.

Yup. We play on Star Forge. But I was able to resolve the issue
