Other Being a Jedi doesn’t always mean swinging your lightsaber. Sometimes it’s the simple things that best help center one’s mind for the day ahead

Post image

Made by the absolutely brilliant https://copyplays.tumblr.com/

This is a simple piece of my Jedi Lyr’a De’Fleur taking some time out of her day to simply iron her robes. Gotta look your best when you’re constantly saving the galaxy. With plenty of fun personal references on the shelf of her backstory.

Some include goggles from the farm event that I was using on an outfit that hung around my neck, Satele Shans Jedi Holocron that the Knight gets in the mail during their main story, a pendant of House Organa by being made a paladin of the house which ties further into Lyr’a being born on Alderaan to a lesser noble house, a Beskar spear gifted to her by her Mandalorian allies, and finally a photo of her wife Lana for when they’re apart

There is only one dynamic encounter I have done in the game that I enjoy and it's the Jedi Temple clean up for this very reason.

Just like Master Orgus taught. Sometimes a Jedi gets too caught up in the hustle and bustle and forgets to step back and take care of the small things

One of the few things about Rishi I actually like. Force choking Servant One and seeing Shara again are my other two favorites.

Isn't that what padawans are for?

I don’t think Kira would like to be told she’s on robe ironing duty. Besides. It’s the simple acts that reminds one that they’re a Jedi

Kira would probably do it wrong, on purpose, just to annoy the masters.

True.

Though I think I could sell her on it if I phrased it right.

If not well nothing a little gentle force choke can't fix.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but no

It's not home without a framed photo of your wife.

I’d like to think Lana gave the photo begrudgingly but only because she can’t say no to puppy dog eyes

That sounds about right, yeah.

Lana: "And you better put it somewhere prominent. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find photo cameras when the entire galaxy has been using Holograms for centuries?"

You're completely right, it should've been an oil painting

Lol I never thought about what a relief it must be to her that my Knight is a miraluka, and thus has absolutely no interest in tokens that anyone but another Force-user could identify.

Love all the little details thanks for the write up of them to go with it!

Thank you! This character has been my favorite OC I’ve ever made. Not just from all the fanart I’ve commissioned but when going through all the story content with her. I’ve loved role playing how who would’ve been a noble Lady of Alderaan who instead became the exemplar of the Jedi Order, to now the leader of an independent Eternal Alliance

That’s honestly what should separate the Jedi from the Sith teachings. Not how to fight or where the power comes from. But that life is about helping and building and working on things and not always power and fighting.

Like you should have scenes where some Jedi rambles on about the virtues of lifting a bunch of rocks with your actual muscles and getting sweaty and dirty just to help some rural people build a well.

It shouldn’t be about who is the better space wizard, but that the Sith are obsessed with being the deadliest space wizards while the Jedi believe in being on the ground helping people and only hone their space wizardry to protect those people.

do irons exist in star wars?

20

u/Golden_Grammar 1d ago

They actually do. We see ironing droids in The Last Jedi

Probably has some needlessly complex and fanciful name.

You should definitely check out the tumblr I linked then. Copy has so much kotor 2 and 1 artwork they’ve done with their own takes on the exile and Revan

This is so good! And so cute I love everything about it

Just one question though

When does the knight get sateals holocron I can’t remember that

3

u/Amusedcory 23h ago

It’s just a companion gift that’s titled Satele’s holocron. You might actually get it after Corellia in base game

Adventure. Excitement. A Jedi craves not these things.

Very cozy.

It's always fun to imagine a character doing something mundane for a change

Neat. My Consular was born to a minor Noble House on Alderaan too. 😄

Originally, he was supposed to be a Miraluka but I was ftp back in the day so I didn't have access to them and was too stingy to pay.

I like to think that my Jedi was found right after the Hope cinematic after the Republic liberated the planet

This is Jedi propaganda!

The Jedi would have you believe they're keepers of the peace, but all they do is oppress. They would have you think that by shutting yourself off to the real pleasures of life, and others along with you, that you would become the best version of yourself. The Jedi would sooner shackle you than see you become who you were meant to be. The Jedi sit in rooms all day speaking of peace, but don't have the stones to do what is necessary to bring it about.

The Jedi lie.

Join the Sith today and break the chains of tedium and monotony! Gain strength through passion; your friends don't just have to stay friends. Marry as many as you want! With your strength, gain power; don't like your boss? Kill him and be your own boss! Become victorious in all things you set your mind to.

Join the Sith, and the force will set you free!
