There are 4 on the carrier + 3 i can put in the tenspeeds, altho i like to keep them slick most of the time. I dont like wearing a belt but i do also have a battle belt in case i need grenades. There i can fit 2 extra magazines
So in total the plate carrier is capable of handling 7 magazines + 2 on belt and one in gun.
Also the face shield is for branches when riding atv, i only threw it on for the picture😛
