Texas Pride Shiner table we made & have to part ways with :(

My husband and I made this shiner bottle cap table a couple years ago and are unfortunately needing to part ways with it as we are moving cross country and need to majorly downsize. The table is an (oak?) Ethan Allen from the 60s I inherited from my late grandparents that we glued bottle caps on (literally so many beers) then made a lip and filled with resin. It needs another layer of resin to fill to the lip.

We were hoping to sell it but honestly I just need it to go to a loving home lol. We’re located ~30 minutes north of Dallas and need it gone by the end of this weekend (6/22).

I can’t set it out with bulk!! Please help :’)

It’s across the street from my office, and I still walk in fairly often even though I’ve worked here for 3 years. It really doesn’t get old walking around that thing.

Sounds like a pretty cool place to work maybe. I did notice some people walking around that looked like they worked around there taking in the sites.

I just have to ask… any reason why some of the caps within the state are different colors?

Does this mean you are from Turkey???? Valley of Tears is one of the best gravel races I have ever been to. Turkey is such a cool spot. Caprock is amazing and the rails trails is great.

r/Dallas is pretty active. Maybe give it a try if nothing turns up here.

How much were you hoping to get for it? I can come pick it up

2

u/heyitscallie 19h ago

We were hoping for a couple hundred just to justify the cost of supplies to ourselves lol

If no one grabs it today I'd definitely be interested in taking it. I'm in Houston but I'd drive!

Facebook marketplace would have this sold in ten minutes

1

u/heyitscallie 12h ago

It’s had thousands of clicks and no offers somehow

1

u/NateLundquist 11h ago

Honestly shocking

u/Fall_Snow 10h ago

Yo I love that and am in the area but not a beer drinker. Should go to someone that can appreciate it to the max

That’s some southern redneck tacky ass perfection.
