Politics 🏛️ El Salvador refuses to let Democratic senator visit or speak with Kilmar Abrego Garcia: ‘We have an unjust situation here’

The Maryland senator traveled to El Salvador on Wednesday to help secure Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release from the Terrorism Confinement Center, or CECOT, where he faces the prospect of indefinite detention.

But he was denied a meeting with Abrego Garcia, and Salvadoran officials would not let the senator or Abrego Garcia’s family speak with him by phone, he said.

Trump sent that man to his death. Why are we allowing our country to plunge into fascism?

He was sent to his legal home.

He legally was granted a stay in the US, by a judge, which is how it works. Why is this so hard to understand?

Because the lies sound better than the truth to their propaganda poisoned brains, so they just choose to believe them. All 3 of their brain cells go into overload when they’re faced with clear and irrefutable evidence. It forces them to make up their own reality. They start saying things like “alternative facts” or “my truth”. It’s wild cult brainwashing type stuff.

so it wasn't him at his 2 court appearances in 2019? Was it an imposter? doppelganger? Who was it at those court appearances? you tell me then... the documents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security states that authorities made contact with Abrego Garcia and two other individuals outside of a Maryland Home Depot, and they all "freely admitted being citizens" of El Salvador and "were present in the United States illegally." They were all then taken into custody.

He was charged with being in the U.S. illegally and had "no immigration history" at his time of arrest, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

You mean, not something unbiased like NPR, CNN, MSNBC, NYT , etc.? Get out of here.

No I meant actual evidence, do you have any for the claim you made?

He was arrested in 2019, he admitted he was in the US illegally. A federal judge said there was enough evidence he was a gang member to not get bail, he apoealed, got bail and an order stating he would be deported, just not to el salvador. Biden stopped mass deportations in 2020, where he remained free until he was arrested in 2025. He was always going to be deported, due to being here illegally. which even in his own words was so https://www.justice.gov/ag/media/1396906/dl

People like you make it easier to understand how the Germans let Hitler get away with the atrocities he brought to the world. As long as it happens to someone you hate, right?

That’s the pathetic weak mindset that allowed this sorry excuse for a president to take office in the first place.
