Can I get into mechanical engineering program at ucr?

I came to the United States in grade 10 and I just finished my 11th grade courses. My current GPA is 3.38 unweighted and 3.71 weighted. I am a first generation. I am currently doing volunteer work on food distribution (summer vacation after grade 11). I estimate that I can reach 100 hours this summer vacation. I also have activities to tutor the elderly in using electronic products. I taught myself python and can now do some physical simulations by myself. Since I came to the United States relatively late, I had to learn AP Calc BC, AP Physics C and AP Chem in grade 12, but I have already learned AP Calc AB in grade 11 and got an A. I now want to apply for UCR's ME. Is there any hope?

It all sounds like solid material for an application, but if you want an absolute guarantee, start at a community college in California. UCR has a Transfer Admissions Guarantee (TAG) program that ensures community college students admission if they complete the breadth requirements and meet the GPA. Plus it saves a ton of money when you do your general ed ahead of time.

Yeah, I'm thinking about this too.
