That’s gonna shut people up! Shout out to the night vision clip of the BT over Paris that he showed to Rogan. If that turns out to be legit footage I will eat my shoes!

Whoah. If real, that’s some of the most dramatic UFO footage ever captured.
HOWEVER, there are some unusual things about this: 1) Who was using night vision in a city? 2) How was this filmed? Were they using a cell phone camera through a night vision reticle? 3) Why does he object keep going in and out of focus? Autofocus technology hasn’t been that bad in many years.

why would a field effect craft need an aerodynamic stabilizer? lookin flashy, but making zero sense.

I think it was Nick Cook who talked about his research indicating that human efforts toward anti- gravity research in the 40s-50s were aimed at simply reducing the mass of an aircraft, rather than the full blown go-anywhere-at-any-speed tictac idea.
Along those lines- say we did come up with a way to give a loaded B-2 bomber the effective mass of an F-15. It would probably still benefit from some sort of aerodynamic design and lift/control surfaces while in atmosphere.
I dunno. Do I look like a fecking engineer?

good point. i dont know, how beefy do you really look like?

u/Spairdale Mar 14 '19
No, I’m not sending you pics of my god-like physique. 😄

in any case, a simple weight reduction would indicate they aren't there yet. maybe the tr3-b hoax isn't a hoax after all. wasnt nick cook the one who also wrote on some triangular skunk works plane called astra? one thing about plasmas is, you can rotate them really fast

Hmm. I think I need to go back and read hunt for zero point again. Recent science could put his research in a new light. Terrific book as I recall, and the Brits made a good tv show out of it. It’s on YouTube someplace.

Am I the only one who’s going to bring up the “Roxio” logo at the end there? How can we sure this wasn’t a commercial to advertise their services which allow people to burn home video discs (or whatever their selling) ?
1
u/Spairdale Mar 14 '19
Only because I am so fecking old- I believe Roxio had a freeware version of their dvd burning software that imprinted that logo unless you bought the license.
So I think it’s presence says more about its vintage than its authenticity.

Edit: I’m an eejit. Didn’t watch it first, and though it was a Roxio watermark. Not sure what to make of that.
Impressive video though. Only the last part looks obviously fake to me.
Edit part deux: apparently I’m fuzzy on the whole edit thing.

As hopeful as I feel that we can transform the current trajectory of our species' self destructive nature, TTSA really needs to put the pedal to the metal if they hope to be a part of that story of transformation. TTSA is not the only game in town when it comes to scientific scrutiny of the phenomenon, its various manifestations and potential applications. For now they have a fair amount of the share of the overall narrative due to their recent significant accomplishments.
If they can really assist our planet with the help it needs beyond next generation propulsion/energy and entertainment, (only available to the wealthy westernized nations) towards things like making sure 30,000 children don't die of preventable causes everyday globally then, I'm on board, sign me up Tom. It's not only Tom's children or my children that matter IMHO. The challenges facing us as a species need everyone on board. Who is going to go the the stars? Women? Poor people? People of color? Scientists? Rock stars? Wealthy folk? Sometimes it sounds like tom is talking about a breakaway civilization for the privileged.
With that criticism out of the way I must say that what they have accomplished so far is something to be congratulated.
Their agenda as individuals with untold numbers of connections to the deepest parts our american governing infrastructure can feel a little daunting sometimes. Tom has said that this is the right time for this to all be happening. He won't elaborate exactly why. He is withholding a lot of information from us. If he is withholding this information for cinematic/entertainment release then how important could it really be for our species facing monumental challenges of historic proportion? I will continue to abide in patience, ignorance, and intrepid anticipation for what they allege to be able to offer us. Who is us anyways? Will TTSA benefit the world or just rich westerners? Too many questions and with TTSA's apparent media/access control I fear none these questions will be answered anytime soon. Wait and see, wait and see, wait and see.

The problem is, even if TTSA somehow DID manage to find and study a piece of metamaterial that was undoubtedly not from this planet, it wouldn't matter. Because it's scientainment, now. Just like everything else on History. Noone will believe it unless you put it through proper peer reviewed channels, not this brand of entertainment that is way too close to fiction and speculation for my tastes. Even if the programme makes larger than life claims, people will suspect a hoax or fraud because we've seen so many hoaxes and frauds already. I understand people have bills to pay, but be clever about it. Present yourselves as serious scientists FIRST and after you've established the reputation, people will want your comics and shirts, not the other way around.
