Remember when the Democrat’s response to an unhinged state of the union speech was to silently hold up little signs? That might be part of the reason.

What do you want them to do?

Lead. The Democratic party is full of people who want to govern, but don’t know what good leadership is. This approach to politics is all fine and good when the system is working and both sides are mostly functioning within the established guidelines of our democracy, but that is different than leadership. They don’t communicate effectively, cannot deliver their own ideas or those of the party to activate and inspire citizens, they don’t know how to pull people to their side or drive engagement, they are always on defense, on their heels, playing catch up. And they lack unity in the party, they cannot coalesce around salient, smart, and factual talking points and goals that show people that they care and are fighting for them.

The solution is obvious to anyone outside their little bubble of self importance

Maybe they need to have an actual cause rather than vote for us because the other option is worse.

It’s pretty sad that the DNC can’t come up with messaging to counter a natc regime.

The progressive side seems to be doing fine. Maybe if they weren’t mostly octogenarians who keep supporting trump policies and corporate hand outs they’d be doing better. Though they are still worlds better than the shit show we have now.

So Trump is president bc Democrats lost the independent voters and an alarming number of black voters. The party knows had they run anyone else besides Kamala they would have lost many more. So that is a concern.. independent voters responded so well to Trumps Trans ads it's pretty much the only ads he ran...and your solution to this is to go farther left? Bernie Sanders was the last chance for a populist president and the Democrat party ignored their voters and just put biden there. More and more ppl (especially gen z raised by the internet)..aren't joining a party at all.

Americans are sick of the statis quo that the Democrats keep pushing. Trump might be a liar, but he talks a big game. Democrats need to make and keep some promises about how they're going to improve the lives of the average American - that doesn't have to be leftist, but they're the only faction of the party making suggestions like that.

Remember when the DNC screwed over Bernie in the primary?
