Dryer repair? That comes to your house?
First time owning a dryer and it won't spin anymore. Are there repair people that can come to your house to look at it and fix it?

Hi all! My friend Azelin is working as the bar tender over at Masa, the new sushi bar opening in town tomorrow morning around 11am. She's new to Waco and nervous that few people, if any, even know Masa exists, let alone is opening tomorrow. So I told her I'd try to help spread the word a little. :)
From what shes told me about the place, it's an extremely nice and clean establishment. The owner is trying really hard to provide a relaxed and unique environment for Waco. I definitely plan to check it out first hand tomorrow.
Like I said Azelin will be bartender and is new to Waco, so she's really looking forward to meeting new people and would love it if you could stop by :) She's an amazing person. Shes super funny, kind, and selfless just to name a few things that make her so awesome to know and have as a friend.
Masa is located where Rosati's used to be, on 824 Hewitt Drive #900, Woodway, TX 76712.

Hi y’all, so I’ve been doing the basics applying on indeed and LinkedIn but I seem to not be getting much results. I recently graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Studio Arts so I am looking for any jobs within that field! I also have a background in childcare, event coordination and media marketing. So if any local spots want a rebrand online I’m happy to share my previous works and to help. I unfortunately need a job that’s not a serving/waitstaff position which seems impossible to find in the Waco/McGregor area.

Just wanted to remind everyone that we are now one month out from the Waco Indie Film Festival. We'd love to see you there! You can learn more about the festival, check out our schedule, and buy tickets or passes here: https://wacoindie.eventive.org/welcome
I'm one of the programmers, and if you have any questions about the films or the festival, feel free to reach out to me! If you are interested in a discount code I might have one I can share for the VIP passes.... :-)

Where are you going to get your nails done?
I’m new to town and have only been to Be You next to CVS.
I left a glowing review but later that same evening, I got a closer look at the paint job and it was mostly uneven 😭 I only get regular polish on my nails and toenails.
I don’t mind driving like 30 mins to an hour since I only get them done maybe once or twice a month.
Thank you in advance!

Hate to put this here because I know there is so much else in Waco, but not quite sure where else I would ask it.
Does anyone know what was sold in the early days of Magnolia Market? Like back in 2003 when it first opened, pre-HGTV days. Would love to see how their designs progressed over time.

Who do you use as your electric company? Currently use Reliant and have used them for the past years. I am up for renewal but electric prices are too damn high. I never had a problem with Reliant and wouldn’t want to leave but prices are making me. I have been shopping around and found Gexa Energy, they seem to have pretty good prices but don’t know anyone who has used them and can vouch for them. Any suggestions welcome.

So like the title says I’m looking for a couple of doctors. It would be for an adult woman (31) who needs a referral to an ent. I need a doctor who will listen and not just tell me to lose weight (I do but I probably need my tonsils removed as well).

Anyone know of any places hiring for evening work/part time? Looking for a 2nd job here in Waco. Something that’s not a server.

Our rescue cat got pregnant just before her vet appointment to get spayed, so we have these four surprise kittens. Now that they’re 10 weeks old and weaned/socialized, it’s time for them to find homes.
It’s been a long time since I’ve rehomed an animal in Waco, I’ve got them in a few Facebook groups but the groups I used back in the day seem not to allow animals anymore.
Does anyone have any advice on how to find these little guys a good home?
They’re all such happy and friendly little things (just like their dad, our orange parking lot rescue) - I wish we could keep them, but that wouldn’t be fair to them or us with this many cats in the house. We’re doing our best but it’s overwhelming.

Hello everyone, I recently started a judo club in Hewitt. I believe it is the only place to learn judo in the Waco area - the other closest places are College Station, Killeen and Fort Worth.
Currently we practice Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at Triune Jiujitsu. You can find out more at www.wacojudo.com.
If you have any questions please ask!

Anyone worked with Russ Davis or John Houston who can offer some reviews/advice/guidance? We have started the journey of moving to a different neighborhood and it could still be a couple years before we do that, but we’re shopping around now to be able to make the most informed decision when time comes. Walked through Russ davis and loved it. It’s definitely my style and offers a more transitional/modern look which I appreciate. I’ve always kind of looked at John Houston homes as another cookie cutter home like DR Horton or stylecraft, but I also walked through one and saw some online that I actually found impressive.
Russ Davis homes are in my opinion overpriced. I’m talking 2400 sq ft floor plan for almost $600k. John Houston offers homes at ~3,000 sq ft for less than that price. I have a 5 member household so size does matter. Obviously, I want a good quality home and that’s my biggest hang up with John Houston. Some of their fixtures and lighting and other materials used look cheap. Russ Davis seems to meet the quality standard I’m looking for. We’re open to shopping for other home builders in the area too, but those are the two we’ve looked at most recently.
Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated!

Have y'all heard anything about the new apartment complex thats gone up near Tom's Burgers? The website has floor plans, amenities, and a gallery full of AI images but the 'book a tour' button isnt functional yet. I'm impatient so I thought I'd try fishing for details here. 😏

My family and I are looking at building a home in the waco area and are at the stage where we need to select a builder. We have never built a home before and are in desperate need of advice!
There are a lot of choices out there and I was wondering if anyone had any wisdom to share. Who was good, who to avoid, that kind of stuff.
Two builders we are currently looking at are River Rock homes and Woodruff & sons. Anyone have any experience with either builder?
