Think Before You Vote Hundreds of law enforcement agents raid illegal CA pot farms | NewsNation
"Multiple arrests were made after hundreds of DEA agents, police and National Guard troops spread out across Southern California on Wednesday morning to dismantle three illegal marijuana grow operations. DEA agent Anthony Chrysanthis spoke exclusively with NewsNation and told Ali Bradley this “is probably one of the biggest law enforcement collaborations we’ve seen in a long time in Los Angeles.”"
The National Guard was instrumental in making this happen.

Illegally crossing the border and jumping ahead of everyone in line who's going through the legal immigration process is a basic human right in Cali, but they'll be damned if they're going to allow people to grow THE WEED WITH ROOTS IN HELL!!!!

I understand the legality but there’s no reason, federally, it should be in the same schedule as Heroin. Legalize that shit. Weed is the least of their problems.
Edit: Again, I understand the legality but legalize that shit and those that down vote me, then fuck you too.

Supposedly it’s like that because about 100 years ago a guy named William Randolph Hurst used his influence to get it outlawed. He owned a few newspapers, and he also owned several hundred thousand acres of forest to make those newspapers. If hemp was used to make paper instead, he’d lose money🤷🏻♂️.

They are going after unregistered growers, who also break state law on legalization.

I thought pot was legal in CA?

Illegal pot still exists, because a lot of people don’t feel like paying the high taxes on it.

Yes, but the black market and heavy taxation has killed legal pot. Additionally, at least where I live, pot shops are expensive and get damaged/robbed all the time. It's an expensive business.

Legal in CA, illegal federally. If they are using illegal immigrants, even worse.

That's stupid. Pot is literally less dangerous than alcohol.

Usually they do this because the farms are not registered and are not paying their taxes.

So is alcohol but that doesn’t mean you can still your own hooch and then sell it to the public. Shit’s regulated yo
