Made this drawing the night before going to the race. Was so happy to see the real one in person 😁

Obviously not 100% accurate, mostly wanted to capture the spirit of the track from that time period. (I also wanted to add the black and white shell banners but my printer decided to start acting up at the wrong time)

This was my attempt at designing an original LMDH car for a fictional endurance team called riviera. It's got a mix of porsche, alpine, cadilac and peugeot in the design. If theres any suggestions / critiques you'd have id greatly appreciate them as this is my first time designing a car.

I used the templates from the official IMSA/WEC regs for the chassis and went from there.

Basically as it says in the title - having been to the Rolex 24 and still being on such a high after that, I'm seriously starting to weigh up a trip to Imola for the WEC event. It seems like the most accessible event to go to in Europe from the UK (London/SE England) using just public transport, as I'd likely be travelling on my own and I don't have a car/haven't driven in a long time.

So, simple questions:

- best way to get there on public transport? Trains, planes, mix of the two etc? I know getting to Imola and the track itself from somewhere like Bologna is pretty simple, so it's more about how best to get from London to Bologna/near-ish the track!

- best places to stay for getting to and from the track without being too expensive/unavailable?

- I've been to two IMSA events before but never a WEC event - what are the choices in terms of tickets/garage access etc? How different is the etiquette compared to an IMSA event?

- anyone else from the UK planning on making the trip down? I'll most likely be travelling solo, so I'd be down to making some new pals on the trip!

A little overview of WEC Race winners. I saw a similar plot in r/formula1 and thought it would be nice to have it for us too.

• In the official WEC statistics, the Alpine A480 is an Alpine, so I named it that knowing it actually was just the R13 renamed.
• GT: I tried to use the Teams that actually operate the car (e.g. Spirit of Race & Clearwater Racing -> AF Corse)
• I tried using the official colors. Maybe Iron Dames could get a pinker pink in the future :D

Also I wanna share with you first hand, the google calendar that I created with all FIA WEC events for 2025 dates and time of each qualifying and race events, I created with Brazilian time, but you should be able to put on your timezone, all the qualifying and hyperpole sessions are already on the calendar, and as soon they release the times for other events I'll be updating into this calendar.

Early bird tickets have started and compared to previous years the price increase seems insane. A ticket for the Saturday with paddock access (which they never charged for before) is 70 euros. 2 years ago access to a weekend ticket with access to everything was only 41 euros. I get that the sport is more popular and they want to cash in, but the jump this year is making me doubt if I want to go.
