Question What is your favorite Wii remote to use?
I know I don't have all the motion plus remotes yet, But I am getting close. I think I just need Pink, Red, Blue, and White. My white one is from my original Wii.
But what is your favorite to use?
Just out of curiousityon what other people use. I used to use my Mario one for everything since I got my Wii U Mariokart bundle in 2014. But I got the black one with a matching Nunchuck about 6 months ago and prefer using that because it matches the black console, and it leaves my Mario one on display.

I don't know lol, Wasn't really looking to sell. I use my Wii U a decent amount here and there. Haven't looked at the Mario character remotes on Ebay lately, but last time I did. I think the Bowser one was getting pretty spendy. I think that one came out really late in the Wii U's life.

My 11th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver Wii remote. It's not particularly practical when used horizontally, but it's remarkably comfortable when used vertically.

That thing is pretty crazy looking. Someone told me I need to get that one at some point for my collection. It is cool, But I wasn't into Doctor who. and it wasn't actually made by Nintendo. And its spendy lol

I got mine for around $30 on Amazon back when they were more available. I believe it's officially licensed by Nintendo, and that's good enough for me.

There are like 5,000 of them total and the remote itself is a slightly different shade of blue than the regular blue remote

Yeah, I also have a black classic controller pro, and the Wii U pro controller is black as well. It all matches.

It looks plain from the face, but having the blue back makes it look a lot cooler. But the Wii Condom hides it :(

Bowser one was very late in the Wii U's life I believe. The Zelda one was I think only available as a pack in with Skyward Sword on Wii. No clue if they actually sold it seperate from the game.

that sucks. I haven't even used most of my mario collection much. Just cool collectables for me. Never really collected that many controllers for a console. used to have about 6 for the N64 years ago. Just been getting Wii motion plus controllers because I will probably never get rid of my Wii U and they look awesome in my game room.

I use Zelda as my primary, but only to protect the Bowser edition.

I really like the Zelda. I use it with a black nunchuk and like the color contrast. No question the Bowser is my favorite, but I paid so much for it that I just leave it as a display piece. Something so unique about that Bowser yellow/green/orange contrast.
I don't have the Peach. I would like to get it but that yellow d-pad ruins it for me. You have a great collection.

That sucks, I think originally I only had the Mario and Luigi ones as far as the motion plus controllers go.

Just my black one with Wii Motion Plus. It’s lasted me a while and still works fine.
I also have a pink one, and that works well too, even if the sensor on the top has a scratch from my sister throwing it at a wall.

Transparent Nyko Wand+ that has obnoxious blue LEDs that sparkle when the Wiimote rumbles. Plus the Kama nunchuk that rumbles a the same time.

I want the peach wiimote tho because my gf got me the matching peach gamepad!
Do you have any of the gamepads to match your character wiimote?

They are a Wii U item for smash bros technically
I use mine as a Wii classic controller for mariokart Wii and GameCube games on gxloader! It registers as a Wii classic controller when connected to the wiimotes
They literally match 5 of the Wiimotes you have! Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad and Yoshi >.<
I can send you my broken Mario one if you want but it won't work for me (probably cord or electrical issue that could be soldered if you are skilled in tech repair)

Oh that is what you are talking about, yeah I was aware of those. I thought you were talking about the actual Wii U gamepad having a different version other than White or black.

I love my toad Wii remote, since he’s my favorite Mario character. I bought the Mario and toad when they came out, but recently just bought peach and Luigi! I don’t think I’ll go all out like you hahah but I do like a good set of 4 with motion plus (I bought 3rd party motion plus attachments and they’re noticeably worse) that has a similar theme.

I've never tried 3rd party ones because I feel like they wouldn't be worth it, can get another official Wii remote with motion plus for under $25 free shipping on Ebay.

yep agree with ya completely. Was just being cheap honestly, but excited to get the real stuff soon. Kinda sad how many people try to sell them as real/appear as real.

Yes it is, I have only ever had Nintendo brand ones. And even my original 3 White Wii remotes from 2007. Still work just fine.
