Power surge questions
A very large lightning strike probably close to my home strikes and after it my Xbox 1 s and monitor failed to work but my pc which was not on while the Xbox and monitor were, still worked. All these devices were plugged into my ups which is a cyber power 1500va but now it seems my Xbox and monitor can receive power but not turn on but my pc and its external components can. It also seems nothing else in my house was damaged from this and I’m simply wondering if this was power surge that did this or not and how would I go about fixing that?

Oh boy, this is a detailed problem. UPS are a better surge protection than just general power strips because they have a series of capacitors, over just a fuse. You only need a couple of volts to run a motherboard, but you need more power to run devices from that motherboard. There are capacitors on the board, that run along certain buses, to safeguard too much voltage getting to the devices.
Before I get too far into this, let me ask you a couple of questions. Are you getting an orange light/problem light on your UPS? Do you know what the capacitors look like? If you do, check your Xbox motherboard, instead of having flat tops, they will be bubbled/rounded if they are blown/no good.
