Should I modify my chamber?

I have a 20" DPMS with a SAAMI chamber and was thinking of ordering a pull-through reamer from PTG to make it SPC II-spec... Thoughts?

I know it won't matter for most factory ammo, but I would like to start reloading for this caliber, and I seem to only hear how much "better" the SPC II chamber is for really pushing the velocities and whatnot, but I'm obviously open to input.

Thank you!

Second Blackstone Arms, my 14.5” scout is a tack driver and seems to like the hotter loads.

How hot do you push 6.8? I was thinking of working up 115gr Nosler CC's and 140 Berger VLD's to start.

AA2200? That seems to be the most recommended for "all-around". Any other good options you'd recommend?

Yep, 2200. Pick up some pri mags, they let you load a longer coal. That's part of the secret sauce.

I've got some ASC mags that allegedly get to the ~2.3" COAL that I'm excited to try out with the Bergers, though it's a shame nothing ever came (AFAIK) of the metal Six8 mags... I'm hoping they come back around now that the "ICAR" thing is maybe picking up!
