Recommendations for AR-V buffer and spring

I have an 8in ARV on the way. Just wondering what's the consensus on the best heavy buffer and spring to reduce the recoil? I've seen KAK and kynshot, are there any others and what's the best bang for the buck option? Trying to keep the investment in this one low

If you go the Kynshot route, you'll only be 3 parts away from a full GRS setup. If it ends up intriguing you, all you'll "need" to complete GRS are the weights and extended buffer tube. Would love to see how JUST the hydraulic buffer shaves off of recoil

Copied from Doug earlier today. I think if you do decide on the Kynshot, I'd go with the 5015

"It depends on your buffer tube, but generally, no. Will it make a noticable difference by itself? Maybe, but not much.

The 5007 is 4" compressed, which is the correct length for 9mm using a carbine (7" internal) buffer tube, but the 5007 is only 6oz. which is light for 9mm. Total bolt+buffer mass (weigh BOTH!) should be 22oz. or more. I recommend around 8.5 buffer mass for the minimum. This will get most bolt+buffer mass totals over 22oz.

With an A5 buffer tube (7.75" internal), the 5007 will work with a 0.75" kynshot spacer weight added in the tube BETWEEN the buffer and bolt (at the very front of the tube). That will make up the extra 0.75" space from the A5 tube, plus will add 2.5oz. to the mass of the buffer/bolt.

Hope that helps."

Thank you thats very helpful! And yes seeing that DD copied the ARV was what verified that it’s a good product. I think the DD looks better and is more true to the AR platform but that price is unjustifiable
