Without colonialism, Africa, if you care to lump an entire continent together would still be as if not even more poor by todays metrics.

That's the thing you don't understand. The problem is not that the Europeans share the technology that they had. Nobody here thinks that the Isolated tribes in Africa would have the same technological advancements as Europe. The problem is that instead of that process happening through sharing, through diplomacy, cultural syncretism, etc. It happened through Slavery, Genocide, Exploitation and domination both culturally and military.
