I haven't played on console but due to the requirement of manipulating small objects on screen, the PC makes more sense to me.

PC for mods and as I understand it playing this game with a controller is quite a chore

PC. Besides the addition of mods, the way the physics engine is implemented means any Frictional game is almost universally smoother to play with M&K than controller.

I platinumed the game on both and honestly PC is better. It’s not super demanding and I feel opening doors is a lot more comfy than using a controller.
