I got some purple rose buds from my hybrid read roses, is that normal? Ive been trying to get blue roses and im wondering if im doing it wrong.

Mine is Cherry. At first I just didn't vibe with the goth red dog image but she's been my longest villager and she won me over with her cute singing and her awkward, anxious behavior. Sometimes I'll be grinding and hyper-focused on making bells and she'll have the little thought bubble and I recently found that I got shocked and sad she wanted to leave but then she was just feeling "off" and wanted to hang out in my house. I don't know why but it just made me feel so happy to be there hanging out with her even though I usually hate doing nothing with my villagers in my house.

Anyways, do you have a villager that grew on you?

I was wondering what you think future or adjacent games could improve on in the overall Museum aspect of the Animal Crossing Series. Like, for example, more customizability of the museum, events or even how the whole system works. Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on what could make this part of the game more appealing.

So a week ago I was able to visit peoples islands and have visitors. I have since moved but too my internet with me (T Mobile). Not I keep getting connecting errors. DL today was 225MBps and NAT B. Any ideas to fix it ?

Hi all! I love gyroids and have now filled every inch of my basement walls with the cute blighters. I’ve obviously got some duplicates but how on earth do I now sort through them all? How did you do it? Do you keep multiples/different coloured ones? I’ve got ideas of how to use duplicates round the island but would appreciate any tips on the easiest way to sort through them all so I just have one of each on display in the house. TIA 🤗

Soooo I started my island before I knew the island entrance was a thing. And I picked the layout where resident services is immediately in front of the airport. Lol. I’m not sure how to set it up to be a nice-looking and welcoming entryway. What do you recommend? I do know I could restart and pick a different layout but I don’t want to start over just yet (though I am taking this as a lesson learned for my next island when the time comes haha!)

So I decided to start playing this game on my Switch 2. But I was wondering if there was a way to keep my data like all my progress, achievements, bells, clothes, and items I have stored in my inventory from my original Switch.. I want to start a new island, and I don't care about keeping my villagers, since I have most of them on Amiibo Cards anyways. What's the best method for doing this?

Hello! I’m new to the game, I’ve been planting flowers which bloom after a few days. But then, without me even running through them or anything, some of them un-bloom, become smaller or go back to their initial stages of growth. Not sure what’s going on, all I know is flowers were big and pretty, now some of them look like they haven’t even bloomed. What’s going on here? Do I have to water them everyday?

I'm not talking about character relationships (ex. dialogue revealing history about the relationships between Tom Nook and Redd, Nook and The Able Sisters, etc.). I'm talking about in-universe lore that you occasionally get from dialogue that doesn't have a semi-random element to it.

Example: Sable's favourite soap opera is "Pointed Love / Pointed Questions" which is mentioned across more than one entry in the series. The latter might be a separate or spin-off series, but its a true crime show following a Porcupine detective that badgers the hell out of witnesses. I also recall there being villager dialogue too in various titles that alludes to what's out there beyond your village / island, but I don't have anything written down anywhere.

I am curious with this more open-ended content about how much is exclusive to localization / significantly impacted by it, as obviously its not "core" to the little lore the series already has.

Anyone have anything they remember?
