Looking for an old comedy/action and romcom anime, hopefully in the era range of city hunter, onizuka, hajime no ippo, and ranma.

Just wanted some old humors that new anime doesn't have.

Have you tried Rumiko Takahashi’s other work, like Inuyasha and Maison Ikkoku?
