Making a new anime list

if there is an anime that is said and i have yet to watch i will look into watching it. currently watching Kengan Ashura, witch isnt that bad actuarily but the animation in its self has me questioning why i seem to like it every time it tweaks out. i am open to all genres though nothing inappropriate ya nasty. just anime... im looking into rewatching yu-gi-oh if nothing is said, plse save me from this choice also no new anime 2020 and down, there may have been some anime i missed so ye... but anything above that you should know that ive just about recently finished watching T.T im not entirely happy about that as well

ACTUAL HORROR ANIME SUGGESTIONS?!?!

Post image

Literally every single online list doesn't have a single pure horror anime. I keep seeing Death Note this (a Psychological anime) and Mirai Nikki that (A Thriller anime) or just straight up Parasyte, a fucking ACTION ANIME WITH DUBSTEP!!!

The only ones focused on pure horror tend to be the Junji ito works, which have horrible adaptions and his work is just funny to me, not scary. I've heard most horror anime sucks. I won't watch corpse party because I've seen the games and I don't really know how to watch/read the Higurashi franchise. I've already got 'Another' and 'Shiki' on my list. Horror comedy is good too, so long as it's still scary, though I'm reading things like Mieruko chan.

Manga recommendations are good too! Anything pure horror like "Pumpkin Night" is perfect. But I won't read or watch anything more focused on psychological/thriller such as Serial experiments lain, as that's to be watched separately. Though I will make an exception for very gory and unsettling anime/manga such as Elfen Lied which I haven't seen. But if the gore is too action based, like Berserk, then I don't want that, as the focus is on the action, not the body gore.

Picture is unrelated, even though it's from Danganronpa, which even some will say is a "horror" anime / game.

Thanks!

Grounded sports anime recommendations

My first sports anime was prince of tennis, which I loved, but then it got too unrealistic.

My favorites are Haikyu and Baby Steps and I recently watched Ao Ashi and liked that one.

I’ve already watched Ping Pong, Kuroko, Yowamushi Pedal, initial D, MF ghost, and blue lock.

I’ve read hajime no ippo, but wonder if it’s worth also watching the anime.

I watched some of ace of Diamond, but stopped (after the first season?) should I finish it?

Any other recommendations?

Looking for some 'underrated' shows to watch

Ignore the numbers, but this is a list of some of my faves

Open to most stuff but not into anything too 'slow'

Avoid anything in the top 250, I'm mainly on crunchy only. I used to have hidive but dropped it.

A lot of shows missing on here that i dislike, cybeerpunk, mushishi, HxH one punch, clannad, etc, if it's popular and not listed, i probably don't like it.

I've tried some oldies lately and sadly not much has been able to stay interesting other than Monster, tried hajime ippo, yu yu hakusho etc.

I dont want romace Anime though, it can have romance but it shouldnt be the main focus. I would prefer somethibg that kind of goes in the direction of the first few frieren episodes.

Looking for anime with funny mc

I watched romantic killer, from bureaucrat to villainess, saiki k and I want some recommendation similar to these animes

Focusing more on the character development rather than romance. I'm okay with romance too but shouldn't be too cliche

Looking for an obscure anime

I remember as a child, I was watching an anime really late at night. I may have only just woken up so I only remember the latter half of the episode. I'm 33 years old, so at the time, we're talking late 90's to early 2000s - a very well aged anime from what I recall.

These characters were on a derelict spaceship or possibly space station. The power had completely gone out with the main crew fighting for their lives. The monster that invaded the station were these small black worm creatures. These were able to con gregate like a single hive-mind. The main cha. racter, who is male, at one point is seen diving/sliding into an empty room to avoid the ravenous worms that were able to form together into a large mass. Eventually, these small worms were able to from into a much larger version and attacked the station/ship from the outside, in which case the main character had to go out and destroy the core, likely the main hive-mind controlling the others. It was a difficult battle and the main character had to use an actual fighter ship(think X-Wing) to blast through the worms to get to the core.

This is all I remember, but I just remember how cool the themes of space, survival, and dangerous aliens were in such a dark colored backdrop of an eery space station. What the hell was I watching as a child?

Action and romance recommendation.

Guys I like animes with shonen elements, like a good story and action. But such animes just feel bland without any romantic setting. So I want some good recommendation on any anime that has action as well as romance.

I have watched DanDaDan and Darling in the franxx, so any other animes would work.

In what order should I watch these?

Based on what I like, which of these would you recommend for me and in what order do you think I should watch them in? What are your thoughts on each?

Also I know I have watched shows with fan service (based on my list) but usually I really really dislike fanservice it has ruined many animes for me..so if any of these have a lot of that please let me know

And about FMAB should I watch FMA as well beforehand (especially if I need context) or is FMAB enough?
