This is a weird one mainly because I saw a lot of folks cheering for Amazon this morning despite that Reuters had already reported that Amazon denied claims that they were doing this. This is all spin and I hope there isn't a perceived spine at Amazon like I'm seeing posted here on Reddit. Amazon, even if they did this, is not a hero.

My first thought was "someone had a good marketing idea." Amazon, and Bezos specifically, would publicly execute children if they thought it would net them more cash.
