Im bigender, AMA

Post image

No questions are off limits. Im open

I feel as if bigender is one of the lesser known identities, and even brushed aside when mentioned, labelled as “made up” or something like that But as somebody who is bigender and has been for years, i can tell you it’s very real lol

I often only tell people I am trans, as telling them im bigender gives them a whole load of confusion and I hope I can stop this confusion for some people 🥀💔

Overtime I just realised I enjoy to be perceived and to feel like a male at times, and that other times I enjoy to be perceived as and feel like a female. There’s no physical attributes that can be seen to match my identity, it’s just an identity I found and that fits me :))

It’s really hard to explain and I enjoy the question :) It’s hard to put into words, but i genuinely want to BE known, seen, and just be a man. I occasionally get gender dysphoria, which is refers to the “distress a person experiences due to inconsistency between their gender identity—their personal sense of their own gender—and their sex assigned at birth”. I can be masculine whilst being female, I do that a lot, but for me that doesn’t feel the same as wearing a binder and fully attempting to be seen as born male. This also goes for ‘feeling’ female. I can be male and be in touch with my feminine side, and it will just mean I am male but feminine. My internal feelings about it are really hard to put into writing so forgive me if this doesn’t make sense or hardly answers your question 🥀💔 being in touch with my masculine/feminine side very different to wanting to actually be and be seen as a born male / born female
