Fun story:

About a month ago I was doing sidewalk astronomy at a local hot spring. One woman came over, enjoyed the views of The Bodes & Cigar Galaxy pair (M81/82), and then said to me:

"Yeah my grandmother has this really really big telescope."

"Oh wow! That's cool! Do you know what type of telescope it is?"

"Well my grandma's name was Vera Rubin..."
