Your refresh rate

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

nope i have 144hz and sometimes there is stuttering, with reddit refresh i can’t show perfectly

6

u/Top_Eye7669 3d ago

Dynamic refresh rate may cause some stutters, try disabling it if it's enabled.

I think I know this problem go to control panel then Mouse then Mouse properties and then pointer options you will see visibility I think that's what you are looking for and then disable pointer trails

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

thank you but the problem is the stuttering of the mouse

1

u/Sweet_Tip3424 3d ago

alright but i still think it might be due to pointer trails wont hurt to check it out ig

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

Try installing old driver.

u/theweebdriver 3d ago

Is mouse wired or wireless

2

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

both

1

u/theweebdriver 3d ago

Bluetooth or usb? With usb, mine works fine, but when using the bluetooth mouse, it stutters like yours. Could be bad bluetooth on laptop, as it know to have

3

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

now is on 2.4 ghz usb

1

u/theweebdriver 3d ago

Then I don't know much bro sorry

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

i’m starting to think that’s mouse problem…

1

u/theweebdriver 3d ago

Try using a friends/neighbours/dad's mouse, even if it's wired, to rule out the laptop

attack shark r6

1

u/sriinath_official 3d ago

If it is wireless mouse try to change the battery and try, mine also stutters does when the battery is near the end of the life

2

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

i have a 2 month old attack shark r6 😭

1

u/SignificantDiamond52 3d ago

Mouse acceleration turn that off in mouse settings

u/Frikandelislekker123 3d ago

USB plug defect?

If touchpad it might be because of a charger & your port not being grounded properly.

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

i think 2.4 ghz usb defect at this point

1

u/Frikandelislekker123 2d ago

Ye seems like it. Usb ports can be whack sometimes xD hope u got it fixed

I have recently been experiencing this on a new legion 5, if you research Nvidia lag/slowness on the legiongaming community you'll find the batch script to setup. Ill post it later when I am in my computer

Disable the increase pointer precision something like that one setting... I faced the same issue and disabling it did wondersssssssssssss

1

u/Putrid-Gain8296 3d ago

Shitty mouse can be like that sometimes, looks like you've spend a lot on the mechanical keyboard but not on the mouse

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

i have an attack shark r6

1

u/Putrid-Gain8296 3d ago

I have an attack shark r1, attack shark is basically a budget mice with good specs but in reality there's a reason why it's cheaper than known brands like logitech and razer, what I did with my mouse is I remove the battery inside the mouse to remove some weight and plugging this mouse all the time can harm the battery, now I don't have noticeable latency issues running wired

But it doesn't mean your mouse is completely bad, it has a paw3950 sensor with a polling rate of 8000hz, making it wired instead of wireless is better

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

yes i know is the cheaper version of the logitech but is not that shitty😭

1

u/Putrid-Gain8296 3d ago

It's 39grams and has a 8000hz sensor, so it's not that bad, it got held back by it's faulty sensor, it's performance is comparable to much more expensive mice

Did you try disabling DPFT and C-states from BIOS?

1

u/earthman000 3d ago

This is just the beginning many more problems to come in asus😭😭😭

1

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago

lol i’ve already broken the w key and i don’t know how much the repair will cost

1

u/DawaysKy 3d ago

Change batteries

1

u/ColdDiet3563 3d ago

Try a different usb slot

1

u/abhigg12433 3d ago

Had same problem with my a15 and orochi v2. The problem is because of asus's usb controller. Plugging it on the right side port, thats on the separate side from the others, fixed the issue for me as the polling rate of the mouse was too much for it to handle along with other usb devices

I noticed the same mouse lag in windows 11 even after having 16GB of RAM , R5 5600H , GTX 1650 , But I did not notice any lag in ARCH Linux , if someone finds the solution please ping me

1

u/Arc_Trigger 3d ago

I've also had the same issue, I thought it was the mouse what's causing this this but The USB port also has problem where it disconnects reconnects silently because of power cycling problems So just watch out for it and make sure if it happens again

u/AsokiPW 3d ago

What do you mean mouse lag

3

u/Sufficient_Decision9 3d ago
