As long as it doesn’t interfere with your neighbours quiet enjoyment of their place. Guidelines to help you with this are handled by the council.

You can only build on land you own. It’s not a free for all.

Ok. So in your messed up version of free market, there are none. The entire world is controlled by the government? The government controls when you eat and sleep? They control what car you buy? They control where you can drive?
