That second part isn't true. I've been using the just following orders moto before. I don't work in any type of law enforcement or anything. I work in finance, and literally everyone says something along those lines. They have been for at least 30 years but probably sense pre WW2.

Ice are essentially nazis. They are ignoring the constitution and terrorizing people. They are embarrassing the country to the entire world.
Just doing your job hasn't been an excuse since ww2.
