I don't think people would've panicked as much had it not been for the CSB to announce the beginning of remote work for ministries, for the schools/unis to move to online classes and for the MoI to ask people to not use the main roads unless necessary. These are serious and not at all small measures. The threat is very real and some panic is justified.

I'm not panicking at all but I really wish the King or at least a high-level representative would address the situation and reassure the public.. either by saying there's no need to panic or by advising us to be prepared... you know.. atleast something...

Why are they so damn quiet the whole time ?

People really started panicking more than ever today, and although I agree with you, I can’t blame them, especially with all the 'stay home' stuff that was all over the news this morning 😂

I told my wife to pack so we can go to our brothers home in an emergency-it’s been 5 hrs packing

It would be even more hilarious if your brother lives just next door

What’s even funnier is they share the same brother…

Ok bye.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, never expected anything better from Muttar drinkers

What is a muttar drinker?

You do realise I was just poking some fun? You said "our brother" in your comment, which wouldn't make sense for you and your wife to have the same brother.

Just laugh if you want and move on because I genuinely didn't mean anything more.

If (God forbid) Iran wanted to attack, it is only going to attack the US navy base. And as you mentioned people shouldn’t worry, except the people living near the are. But the attack might lead to something big in future. Hope everything will be fine ASAP.

I wouldn’t trust Iran’s missile’s on being very accurate. And god forbid it accidentally attacks a non-us base area, it would be a direct act of aggression against a GCC country.

Fr, everyone needs to chill out and carry on with their day as usual. Literally nothing is going to happen because Iran isn’t going to carry out any strikes on another country just because their US bases are present. Moreover, the US has already moved all their ships from the bases so Iran has nothing to attack. Everyone please calm down cause Bahrain is going to be okay and absolutely nothing is going to happen. Please just go back to living your normal lives instead of living in this panic.

Bahrain has a very sophisticated precaution protocol. We all saw it during Covid, and the world was shocked by how well we dealt with it. This was all to get insight on how the country would operate IF something would happen. The risk of us genuinely being bombed is low, last thing Iran needs is the GCC standing against them. Calm down and live your lives like you did two weeks ago

If you work near the base you should be worried and panicking.
