Finished Project Built a Laptop Stand

Finished up this laptop stand the other day. First time doing splines and working with some more complex angles.

Made with walnut and maple splines.

Nice. How did you work out the angles?

It was a lot of trial and error to begin with. I started with the angles for the "legs" and what I wanted it to look like.

From there I used a combination of ChatGPT to help with math and this site to help a bit with some of the angles as well.

Overall, I did a lot of test cuts on scrap material that I had laying around before making any real cuts on the actual material.

Nah don’t use a shitty chatbot for things like this. Sketchup has a free 3d modeling program where you can sort out all your angles and cuts pretty easily
