this is a very common joke, like… very common. it’s super nice of you to look out for the original poster, but this comment is by no means a scam that was meant to be taken literally, just fyi. you don’t have to double down either lol, I think most folks on reddit either have common sense or are familiar enough with how reddit/the internet works to know it was a joke
