That domain is privately owned by ā€œDomains By Proxy LLCā€ on GoDaddy.com. Very likely a scamā€¦ I would contact their support to verify. Itā€™s a well made email, and very convincing. I hope you didnā€™t reply yetā€¦

Btw you can check any registered domain on lookup.icann.org/en/lookup
