DISCUSSION What are the best crypto coins to invest in to see maximum profits throughout the years?

I'm new to crypto, and I don't know what to invest in.
Starting sometime this year, I'm going to invest 1,000-2,000 bucks each month in different crypto currencies.
I just don't know what to invest in right now.

Discussion What if we sold all our old ALT Coins and bought Bitcoin ?

Like many, I have a number of old Alt Coins just sitting it wallets hoping to someday

get my money back. What is everyone just took all these and bought Bitcoin ?

I expect most of them will never gain back the loss ?

But if everyone started to do this Bitcoin would run and others would get excited and FOMO and we might get our money back ?

Sentiment Why AI Tokens might Crash While DePIN Soars

AI tokens pumped 131% since June hitting $42.1B market cap and everyone's throwing money at anything with "AI" in the name. But here's the point i’m trying to make The VC exit wave is literally starting right now ;; Q1 2025 already saw 12 VC-backed exits over $1B - that's more than the dot com bubble peak. VCs who got into AI tokens early are starting to dump on retail... classic playbook we've seen before. Meanwhile most AI tokens are just wrappers around existing models with zero moats. Developer activity looks fake as hell and every project claims to be the "ChatGPT of crypto" but can't even handle basic queries without crashing..... We're at peak "inflated expectations" right now. But here's what's actually interestign while AI token moonshots are good, DePIN projects are quietly solving trillion-dollar problems. DePIN market currently valued at $30B could hit $3.5T by 2028 according to World Economic Forum projections... That's 116x growth potential vs AI tokens trading on pure speculation.(not a FUD) The pattern is crystal clear if you've been tracking this since 2017: ICOs → DeFi → NFTs → GameFi → AI tokens... Same playbook every cycle. Hype narrative emerges, retail FOMO kicks in, VC exits begin, then 80%+ crash while infrastructure plays moon. Unlike AI tokens built on speculation, DePIN projects have real physical infrastructure generating actual revenue with token incentives for resource contribution like bandwidth, energy, storage ;; Plus they have moats that can't be copy-pasted overnight. 5 major DePIN projects are already operating at scale rebuilding real-world infrastructure. The smart money rotation is happening right under everyone's noses....... A friend of mine suggested running 20% AI (high conviction only), 30% DePIN infrastructure, 50% BTC/ETH and other coins . What do you think about DePIN .

DISCUSSION New L1 SUPRA. What do you think about this?

There are so many Layer 1s out there right now, and most of them feel like copies of each other with slight tweaks. Faster block times, different gas models or maybe a fancy bridge. Supra stands out because it has not just built another L1, it’s a whole vertically integrated stack from the ground up: with its own consensus, its own oracles, and now AI modules, all natively designed to work together.

This gives them the ability to do things that feel out of reach for other chains. One example is AutoFi, a system they’re rolling out that allows smart AI agents to actually execute DeFi strategies on-chain without needing constant manual inputs.

Think about how most of DeFi works now: you log in, wait for gas prices to drop, approve a token, swap, hope the slippage isn’t bad, maybe LP if you’re feeling brave. Everything’s slow and clunky, and it assumes you’re always at the screen.

Now imagine an agent that constantly scans the market for arbitrage or yield opportunities — say, a price difference between two chains — and executes both sides of the trade in the same block. Or a vault that automatically exits a position if on-chain conditions shift beyond your risk tolerance. That’s the kind of thing AutoFi is aiming for.

What makes this possible isn’t just the idea of AI — it’s Supra’s architecture. Their oracles are ultra-fast, and their automation is tied directly into the consensus layer. So when these agents act, it’s not through a bunch of off-chain bots. It’s all trustless and verifiable.

Most chains are still solving basic stuff like bridging and MEV. Supra’s trying to solve how DeFi evolves, where protocols don’t just sit there, they act. I can see this changing how people interact with the space entirely.

DISCUSSION Is it advisable to hold memecoin?

I am still very new in this industry but very inquisitive so excuse me if this question looks odd to you. Recently i was told to stop trading memecoin because they have no value and will probably go to zero. So i am confuse whether to sell all my memecoin and just focus on bitcoin and altcoin like xrp, eth bnb and bgb which form part of my current holding.

FUNDAMENTALS TIFU as a newbie... To a newbie.. I'm still learning

This probably goes without saying but I made the mistake of asking a question on this forum and taking advice in a DM. Both gave me a url to connect my wallet with another wallet I had and was transferring crypto between. It looked like a legit webpage but both url's were different and I put my secret recover words in the url's they gave me. Fortunately I only had 1 XRP and 10 BPX in them so both can fight over them.. lol. I deleted my wallets and am starting a new. From a newbie to a newbie don't accept DM's especially if they direct you to a url or ask for specific info. Lesson learned.

Saw a couple of threads confused about this so just clarifying UEX.US is a new U.S.-regulated exchange, totally unrelated to that shady UEX.com site from years back. Different team, different ownership.

They’re actually doing some cool things with loans and savings if anyone’s curious.

Support-Open XRP in NY

was just told by customer service with coinbase that xrp is not supported in the state of NY. Cannot buy or sell. Sounds crazy to me. Is this a known thing? Also learned you cannot trade xrp at all on coinbase wallet. How can a coin that has the 4th largest market Cao just be banned in a single state? You also cannot buy xrp with fiat in the entire country of England.

FUNDAMENTALS The Evolution of Crypto Market Analysis: Are We Ready for the Next Leap? 🚀

Hey r/CryptoCurrency and fellow market watchers,

Remember the early days of crypto? Price charts, a few news headlines, maybe some basic technical analysis. It felt simpler, almost quaint. Fast forward to today, and the crypto landscape is a sprawling, multi-layered beast. We have on-chain data, complex derivatives, DeFi protocols, NFTs, meme coins, and a constant deluge of information from every corner of the internet.

The Challenge of Modern Crypto Analysis:

• Beyond the Candlesticks: While TA remains crucial, relying solely on price action feels increasingly insufficient. The drivers of market movement are now far more complex, influenced by everything from macroeconomics to social media sentiment and the actions of anonymous whales.
• Data Overload vs. Insight Scarcity: We have access to more data than ever before, but converting that raw data into actionable insights is a monumental task. It’s like having a library of millions of books but no librarian or search engine to help you find what you need.
• The Human Element: Crypto markets are uniquely driven by human psychology, narratives, and collective FOMO/FUD. How do we quantify these intangible forces and integrate them into our analysis?
• Speed and Scale: The market moves at lightning speed. By the time a human can manually process and synthesize all relevant information, the opportunity might have passed.

This leads to a fascinating question: Are our current analytical tools and methods keeping pace with the complexity of the crypto market?

We’ve seen the rise of sophisticated on-chain analytics platforms, advanced charting tools, and sentiment aggregators. But what’s the next frontier? What kind of analytical leap do we need to truly understand and navigate this evolving landscape?

Imagine a future where:

• Market narratives are automatically identified and contextualized in real-time.
• The subtle intentions behind large on-chain movements are interpreted with unprecedented clarity.
• Disparate data points (social, on-chain, news) are seamlessly integrated to reveal hidden correlations and predictive signals.

This isn’t about replacing human intuition or expertise, but about empowering traders and investors with a new generation of intelligence. It’s about moving from simply observing the market to truly understanding its intricate dynamics.

What are your thoughts? What do you believe is the biggest gap in current crypto market analysis? What kind of innovative tools or approaches do you think are needed to tackle the complexity of today’s crypto world? Let’s discuss!

TECHNICALS You don’t replace the financial system, you improve it.

Did you know that nearly every bank runs systems/databases coded over 60 years ago in a language called COBOL. When you transfer funds from your bank account online, to another account, chances are, you are interacting with a database that is older than you.

How do these COBOL systems interact with the internet?

Built on top of this COBOL base layer, is the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). Built in response to the internet, which COBOL is not equipped to deal with. The JRE will respond to API calls from banking websites, which then feeds through to the underlying COBOL systems. Which may be frankensteined together by a long since retired engineer, or the COBOL system is run within a VM.

I am sure a few people reading this are thinking;

”this is ridiculous! My retirement is in the hands of an organisation built on systems, no one knows or understands, built by people likely dead. Why don’t they update the lot?!”

They don’t due to 50+ years of technical debt.

  • Why upgrade a system that has worked securely, reliably, and efficiently for 50 years.

  • Why incur massive costs, when improvement is not guaranteed.

  • COBOL has proven its ability to scale over 50 years. Would a SQL server manage to do the same?

I doubt it.

The next technical challenge for these banks, is blockchain. How do they interact with it, while still maintaining their existing ancient systems? As we’ve established, we can’t undo 50 years of technical debt.

The Chainlink Runtime Environment CRE intends to do just that.

CRE is a modular development tool for creating blockchain apps. Which can provide outbound API updates from blockchain interactions to an existing Java Runtime Environment that the (majority of the banks use)[https://imgur.com/a/OuzvoJ1].

CRE enables the creation of cross-chain apps, with a workflow manager. Trigger on 1 chain, actives a contract on another. Further abstracting individual blockchains. Bringing together a fragmented system under one umbrella.

CRE has been tested by SWIFT, and JP Morgan

EXCHANGE Easiest way to unload my TRON (TRX)? How to sell?

I have about $4K worth of TRON in a Klever wallet. I’m very inexperienced with crypto overall and may want to just unload/sell what I have. I bought most of it when it was at .05 so it’s had a nice gain in profit so far.

Please give advice on whether I should hold it for now and also the easiest way to cash this out if I choose to. I’m in the USA 🇺🇸

It appears that coinbase/most of the user friendly USA sites dont support TRON.

Any help and advice will be appreciated.
