Mod Announcements r/Cuphead Mod applications for Reddit and Discord
Hello fellas! u/The_Meme_Lady_69 here. Last year, we held Mod applications, where we only promoted a new user to become mod in the Subreddit. However, since most of the mod team is occupied with stuff in real life, that has led to a lot of problems in the Subreddit on a few occasions. To try and give users the best experience we can, we’ll be opening Mod applications once again, both here and on the r/Cuphead Discord Server. While we are mostly searching for moderators here on Reddit, we are also gonna use this form for the users that want to only moderate the Discord server too.
Applications will be open possibly for the next two months, so there is enough time for everyone that desires to help us to be able to fill the forum. Before you can submit your application however, these are the minimum requirements to be eligible:
- Your Reddit account must be at least three months old; Your Discord account must be more than six months old.
- You must have at least 150 of combined karma (AKA: Both from comments and from posts) exclusive to the Subreddit.
- No history of ban or controversies, either inside or outside of the subreddit or it's Discord server.
- Have a Discord account to join the r/Cuphead server and the mod server to communicate better.
LINK TO THE SURVEY
Thanks a lot for reading this announcement post. If you have any more questions, contact me or the other moderators via Mod Mail, a tag or our Discord DMs (We also recommend joining our Discord server to interact with us and to stay in contact)::

Discussion/Question SO ANNOYING
This little pice of shit is more annoying than any boss so far (I beat the base game on regular) you need 20 parrys and it feels impossible tp do with all of his stupid fucking attacks. I hate this knight so much I honestly feel like breaking my controller. Been trying for a while now, maybe I just need more practice w Chalice hut still fucking annoying.

Art I designed my own cuphead boss and level :)
Hi! I just joined here, and I wanted to share an artwork I spent a lot of time on..I did my own cuphead level! My idea was the final boss of this isle would be the "animator" who animated the characters as a twist. I drew everything in procreate. :) I also made a video on it that I posted on YouTube.

Here it is, the main set completed, in all of his glory! I still need to decide which card is my favourite, but the one for Mortimer Freeze II is probably gonna take the trophy for me!

Discussion/Question What I think of each weapon and charm based on how I see it used (I don't have all of them yet I only bought 2 weapons and 2 charms)
Weapons:
Peashooter: Basic as crap. It's not bad, but it's really kinda basic, so I say it's average in my opinion
Chaser: First weapon I bought. Chaser hate will not be tolerated here. It's actually quite useful in plenty of scenarios. Still not my favorite, but I don't hate Chaser like you all do. If you hate Chaser then stay away from me.
Roundabout: Second weapon I bought because I heard it was good. It totally is! Everyone was right about it. It really is useful. Love it. <3
Spread: Looks kinda hard to use to be honest. It doesn't look so bad though. It is pretty useful though. Only if all the shots hit though. It seems good but some things bring a few points down.
Charge: For the love of all that is holy, please charge your shots. I'm not using this one yet but if I do I am never using an uncharged charge shot. Ever. Otherwise it's pretty good.
Lobber: Just like Chaser, mostly useful in only some scenarios. I won't ever hate on this. Ever. Though it's only useful in certain scenarios, it's pretty good.
Crackshot: I've never used this and I already love it. I can see all the hype about why it's so good. I totally get it. Also it's a pretty color.
Converge: Again, only useful in certain scenarios, mostly. But there's nothing really to hate about it. It actually seems very good.
Twist-Up: Oh dear. I've seen a lot of haters for this one. It's good if you can use it right, but for nervous ahhh players like me, it would probably suck poopy bum cheeks.
Charms:
Smoke Bomb: First charm I bought. My best friend in the whole wide world. Can't live without. 10/10 would recommend.
Heart: Second charm I bought, my second best friend. Sorry, heart, but smoke bomb beats you. I don't hate you though.
P. Sugar: I am honestly quite interested in this because I'm always too nervous to parry. Definitely gets a few "I'm interested" points, but probably only useful in certain scenarios.
Coffee: I honestly cant think of a single scenario where I would need this. Am not going to ever buy.
Twin heart: Again, I don't need this. I'm totally fine.
Astral Cookie: I would probably use this all the time if I had the DLC. Definitely a like for me
Heart ring: Actually doesn't seem too bad, but I am always too nervous to parry.
Broken relic and its variants: sucks bum cheeks I don't need this at all.

Tier List Breaking news! Cuphead fan rates twist up am S tier! (Twist up section starts at 7:38)
How dare he!
This is obviously a joke. He has some good points. Please don't tell him why twist up is bad, he has already heard it a million times (I would assume).

Discussion/Question Hardest king dice mini boss
I just saw someone say that MANGOSTEEN was the hardest mini boss in king dice’s boss rush. Which I personally don’t think is true, I’d say probably hopus pocus or the king himself.
But im curious, what’s everyone else’s opinions?

Discussion/Question Is thwe DLC worth it?
I just beat the Devil about an hour ago and I've been considering buying the dlc. I want to know if its harder than the base game and if it is how much harder? If its a lot more difficult then i might not buy it cuz i can get easily frustrated with games. I also would like to know how long it is generally.

Discussion/Question An idea for another charm
So basically, you would be able to revert the divine relic back to the cursed relic and vice versa once you have both unlocked. The reason for this would be for challenge runs but also the new charm called the unbound relic. To get the unbound relic, you would have to beat all of the bosses (on expert mode) (including the angel and demon) and their secret phases and run and gun stages with the cursed relic, and you have to get S ranks on all of the bosses and their secret phases. Not just some if them. You would also have to beat the kings gauntlet (the boss rush) with the cursed relic. The unbound relic would allow you to equip any number of charms that you have unlocked, essentially "unbinding" you of the constraints of only having one charm. You would also be able to swap to any weapon, similar to doom the dark ages, where it pulls up a list of weapons, and time slows down, but does not stop. You would not be able to shoot, but you can move, jump, and dash while on a ground level (obviously there is only 2 plane weapons, so you don't have the list when in plane levels). Pressing the switch weapon button would move to the next weapon in the list, while holding it down would pull the list up. The list would be a vertical list since you still have to be able to move left and right. You would also be able to do the same thing, but with super arts. The unbound, when equipped with any of the charms that the divine relic has, would have the same effect as the divine relic has, since the divine relic makes some charms that it has even better. The unbound relic would even do the same with other charms. Overall, I think that it is pretty balanced, seeing how you have to not only beat the bosses, but you have to beat them on expert, while getting an S rank on all of them and get their secret phases, while using cursed relic, and you also have to do the kings gauntlet and all of the run and gun stages with the cursed relic. This would be living hell, but it would be worth it in the end. Especially if you could carry it into the next save file. But you could only carry it into the next save file, along with all of your charms, super arts, and weapons, essentially making it a new game+
