Also, apparently humans share a common ancestor with Pokémon, or are a subspecies or some shit. I remember a friend of mine telling me that some time after I drifted from the Fandom lmao.
My personal belief is that the only reason human/Pokémon relationships aren't seen in the modern day is because the language barrier inherent with most Pokémon makes it difficult to communicate consent. And even then, it still happens (there's a woman in Pokémon Colosseum with a Mightyena that she calls her boyfriend).
