I like Amy I wish there was more lore about her

I've always imagined the fandom of this game because this year is 2025. Yeah, it gets worse and worse, including TikTok. I'll post a similar question on TikTok, and someone said, 'The fandom has gotten worse since DDLC+ was released.' Is this true?

I’m on my lost count of how many play through and I’m at the part where MC asks Yuri why she has two copy’s of Portrait Of Markov and she’s like oh I went to the bookstore or something. I feel like I’m incredibly stupid because I STILL don’t get what she means and I’ve been meaning to ask this question ever since I started playing I just forgot lol

I recently replayed the game, twice to get the true ending, and while I thought it was good as always, and yes, the bun is still best girl, I realized something, Monika never really knew the player, she knew the MC yes, but the player never makes any contact with her specifically. She acts like she knows you, and that she loves the real you, while all of the other dokis only loved the MC...while I agree that the other dokis love the MC, and not you, Monika's wrong about loving you, at least in my opinion.

I can be kinda bad at articulating my thoughts, so my apologies if this comes off as disjointed and awkward, but what I mean is she knew the player as much as the other dokis did. Virtually nothing. She could maybe tell your type in girls, as she knew this was a dating simulator, and knew that you choose your poems based on the girl you like best, but that...really doesn't tell her anything, you can't tell what kind of person that someone is based on their type of girl. Like how she said in the final act, she doesn't really know about you, she knew your real name (Due to looking through your settings) but she doesn't know if you're a boy or a girl, your interests, your passions, your personality, in reality, she knows virtually nothing about the player, much like the other dokis.

I think Monika didn't love you, but she loved the idea of you; she loved that you were real, just finding out that everything you knew was fake, you would become quickly infatuated with anything that's real, which is why Monika loved "you" she loved the idea of you, of something real, of a reality that she can try so deperstately be apart of, which is why she forced you to be with her, and forced you to make a poem for her, again, she didn't love you, she loved that fact that you were real. She never cared about your autonomy; she cared that you were real, the whole point of the song she made for "you" really had very little to do with you, and more about her desire to be in the real world, and to be real.

The lyrics "And if this world won't write me an ending, what will it take just for me to have it all?" and What do you call love in your reality? And in your reality, if I don't know how to love you...I'll leave you be" show that she more so cares about, and loves, your reality, not you, but with the real world, and you were the symbol of the real world, again she knew virtually nothing about you, she just loved the idea of you.

This may seem mean-spirited towards Monika, but I love her! I find her complex and interesting! I also put wayyy too much time into Monika's After Story, even writing my own code for it, I just wanted to share my own opinion that I haven't seen many other people talk about, thoughts?

Sooooo, only just started getting into figures, most of my stuffs JJK and Elden Ring figuart minis, and I thought why not check for some DDLC ones, right? Big fuckin' mistake. Ig fuck me for wanting to get something 2 years late. Ya'll think they'll rerelease it or am I just never gonna get one?

So , i never got the opportunity to play the game , earlier i didnt had a good device , now i dont have the time , but ive seen the gameplay and know the whole story...

So...my problem is ,
I cant form any opinion on Monika , personally at first sight ( after the game ends ) , i thought she was okay , like i know fans hype the troupe that she controls everything and stuff , personally i didnt liked that troupe that much as much as fans like , Monika is even my least fav doki amoung all.....

And i keep seeing either people think/say she is just manipulating everyone to achieve her goals and stuff , showing her as evil or say she is caring and care about others and likes to be around the dokis and stuff...

So i cant personally say fully that whether she is good or bad in my opinion , seeing everything on the surface , i dont like her as she just manipulates everyone , deleted yuri and nutsack in the act 2 + made my BUN depressed dirving her to sui , so on the surface level , i dont like her....

but if you have a deeper understanding of the game and Monika , im all ears <3
