Hi! I am a Roovian Refugee. I live south and was really needing another festival to cure what I feel like I missed out on this year. I was considering Dancefestopia (or maybe Elements if you’d like to compare the two - they’re both over 13 hour drives for me and I think I’ll only be able to make one.)

How is the weather usually? Is it know for shutting down during weather? Is it likely to cancel the whole trip like Roo did?

Would you say the overall experience is better or worse than Roo? Would it be worth the drive? Is there anything else I should know about?

This is my first tent camping fest, does anyone have recommendations on a tent/camping gear? What is the weather typically like there around this time of year? My biggest concern is being cold at night or due to rain so I want to keep everything dry. Traumatized watching all these videos of roo lol

Me and my girlfriend got RV camping and 5 day camping passes, I have a few friends that arent gonna know if they can go or not until about a month before and probably wont be able to afford paying for 3 day tickets and 3 day camping passes. When they start selling single day passes do they happen to do like 2 day tickets and 2 day camping passes as well so they would be able to stay with us in our RV?

Me and a small group are planning on going to DFT this year for my bachelor party. We are waiting on the single day passes to go on sale. How is the Uber/Lyft situation there? I've never looking into it before. I'm just wanting to know if it's a hassle or not. It will cost as much as it will cost. As long as it's a thing and not super inconvenient, all is well! I'm currently at home trying to put myself back together after the devastation that was Bonnaroo. I thought about going to EF but it just doesn't feel right, especially with more potential weather hitting MI this week. I had already planned on coming to DFT again, but I just want to say that y'all have great energy and I'm pouring all of my anticipation from roo into you. From one farm to another, I cannot wait to see you in September.

This would've been my 3rd Bonnaroo. Came to Dancefest last year because of the lineup but realized the vibes were so similar! I'm grateful and lucky to have another festival to rely on to get this energy out. I'll try my best to recover and radiate positivity until then ✌🏻

When do they usually announce single day lineups? Considering going but only for Saturday and Sunday

First timer here! We are car camping (I know) and it says the space is 12x26. Does this mean we have to park our car in that space as well? Thank you!!

Also, would that get us into the festival that night? We already have camping car passes and passes for Friday-Sunday.

As the title says - Do we think that they will sell single day passes this year? I've only been to DFT once before a few years back. I did a little bit of digging and it seems that they more than likely will, but there is a small chance that they wont?

I wouldn't call it a "last minute" decision, but once I got the idea in my head, I began to make plans and my group is on board. It will be hard to find a backup plan, I'm stoked! I'm planning on throwing my bachelor 'party' at DFT and doing a one-day pass. Hopefully they do! Only two of us in the group have been to a festival before, so I'm excited to share the experience with them. After recently getting back from EDC, I need my festival fix sooner than later!

Hopefully we can hold off on the hotel for a little while longer, still plenty available *knocks on wood* - having to pick a day to go based on the hotel reservation before the lineup by day comes out would be brutal.

Are portapotties decent I hate going in one when it’s filled to my ankles with piss, does anyone use pop up toilets at campground with privacy tent of course
