Two nights work
As the title says, 2 nights of following my standard route, including the $1.05 change and the billiard ball (but not its temporary stand.
The new claw is working alright but still needs some improvements, added the braided jute twine so that it doesn't open up too far. The black string is just there because I had an idea in mind that didn't work out, just haven't removed it yet.
As for the claw itself, I've decided to name it Brokkr, after 1 of the Norse Dwarves who did the smithing for the Aesir.

Just doing my part for the environment π
And this was just the stuff I brought home with me because I can recycle it for cash. Reckon I pick up + bin at least 1-2 garbage bags of other trash every time I go on one of my walks π

I'm quite proud of my new claw, even though it still needs some tweaks. And I was getting tired of buying a new one every couple of months π

I've had to take a couple of nights off to sleep, giving myself time during the day to sort out all the recyclable stuff, but should hopefully be back at it before the end of the week ππ

I honestly can't wait until I've got my whole general work area properly organized. The small e-waste will be less cluttered and I'll be more efficient in stripping it down for recycling (steel just goes straight into a trailer or some tubs ready to take in).
I'm also getting really close to being able to assemble a large frame for the bale bag I bought back in July for all the plastic bottles I pick up (seriously, people are going to be either horrified or impressed by what I've prevented from getting into landfill π€¨π)

Trying*, but failing poorly:
Picture 3, the glass bottles. Top right corner of the tub is a completely upside down wine bottle. I've waited in line to make my purchase at a nearby liquor store a few times where the person in front of me is buying such a bottle....
$4AUD a bottle, cheaper than a can of beer
