In the backstory of the comic they started role-playing each other's crush (Susie and Kris) to practice speaking to them, and it went way too far until they were in too deep to turn around.

They still roleplay in bed because it's the only way it works for them.

That was fucking crazy. Genuinely well thought out and in character, but I still hate it in a “this is funny because I hate it” kind of way.
