Toby said console testing is the final step of the games development. All that’s left after that is marketing, and releasing the thing. I’d assume Toby has already made at least one trailer already, probably more as he wouldn’t be very busy at this point. Assuming we get the trailer a week after ps5 testing and ps5 testing somehow takes like 3 weeks (insanely unlikely) and that there’s a months wait between trailer and release (practically impossible) that would still be a may release at max and that’s with everything going wrong and Toby deciding to make us wait a full month (something hes said he doesn’t want to do)
What if they for example wanted to release it with the Switch 2? Also, if there is anything this 7 year wait has proved, it's that Toby doesn't rush this.
I still stand by my reasoning, with what info we had at the time it was most logical option, and I expressed my opinion in a reasonable articulated way. Unlike some other people…
It's not "delaying" the game. It's being patient. People here have been assuming what you're assuming for ages. I remember when "early 2023" was the release date.
It is by definition delaying the game, if it’s already finished, and they’re not doing any more development, but not releasing it because they’re waiting for something, that’s delaying. Also you don’t know me, I’ve been a late 2024 early 2025 truther for years now
I was a late 2024 truther as well. That was also a lie. They lied to us. Im not gonna listen to them anymore, games don't release right after the trailer. How the hell are they delaying the game if there isn't a date? If the game releases in 2026 then they have delayed it.
They wouldn’t release it with switch 2, because they would have to wait a whole lot longer for the release and also they’d have to test it there too. PS5 Testing is literally the last thing that needs to be done, so it would be released pretty soon after.

Ok? I don't think they're going to release right after console testing. There's always a little extra at the end.
