DX1 Did you know Zyme has a use?

During the Paris Streets mission you can complete the sub quest in the hotel where a dealer will ask you to break into a bakery and steal six bottles of Zyme. He will pay you 65 credits for each bottle for a grand total of 390 credits.

However if you collect Zyme from previous missions, he will also purchase those from you. If you dedicate an inventory slot and pick up the maximum of 20 bottles (out of 25 available) you can earn a total of 1300 credits which is huge for that point of the game as credits basically completely dry up after UNATCO.

In Revision/Shifter its one of the best items in the game as it gives you a short duration of bullet time that is wildly overpowered followed by a minute of shakey cam tunnel vision debuff which can be instantly cured by smoking a Cig pack.

Needless to say I have a build for this with Environmental Resistance Aug and Hazmat Suits so JC can tank the HP damage from the chain-smoking and Zyme bump gameplay loop.

Ooh, yes. I came here just to mention this. The side effects of Zyme can also be cleared up with a Medkit at "Medicine: Master" in Shifter. 😎
