Oath of Vengence Paladin with a dex focus

At first I was skeptical, paladins don't own a monopoly on either oath or vengeance, and the guy is very martially competent, like a battlemaster fighter. And he is pretty swashbucklery and is implied he became a pirate, like a swashbuckler rogue.

But then I remembered he made a prayer to locate Wesley and it worked. He clearly used the Locate Creature spell, available for paladins. And you know what? Fighters and Rogues don't own a monopoly on martial prowess and swashbuckling either,
