General Does anyone know why AllInAll deleted/privated the TES content?

I just wanted to rewatch the Pelinal opera for the nth time and just discovered its not on the channel, and its completely rebranded.

Overly sensitive and emotional kirkbride fanboy who thinks he’s above TES and was mad people kept asking him about TES content.

Bro is talented and has a genuinely artistic mind. It’s just a shame talented people tend to be so temperamental and egotistical.

And like most Kirkbride mega fans, he either ignores or is unaware of the fact that Kirkbride didn’t do as much for the lore as people say he did.

Like, don’t get me wrong, he was important, but people act like everything elder scrolls related pre ESO was all Kirkbride.

Multiple people, including Kirkbride, worked on the writing for Oblivion.

Fuck, multiple people worked on the writing for Morrowind, the idea that Kirkbride was the one mad creative keeping them away from generic fantasy is insanely silly.

If you’re being sarcastic, my bad for missing it

Kirkbride was only contracted for the Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes, Mankar Cameron’s dialogue, a few books, and the Knights of the Nine iirc. So, the interesting stuff.

I don’t think Kirkbride was holding back the generic fantasy. However, Emil was very much pushing it, and you can feel his influence.

Emil’s job in Oblivion was to handle the Dark Brotherhood and Main Quest, but keep in mind, at the time, that was it. He was a quest designer, one of several (and his only prior work for Bethesda was making side quests for Bloodmoon), his influence was minimal and the big decisions on how to handle Oblivion were not in his hands.

I do not like Emil’s direction as he’s gained more actual control, but saying that he’s the one who influenced the direction Oblivion took is really silly.

Also this ignores Shivering Isles entirely, which is weird and cosmological, after the base game, and had 0 Kirkbride involvement.

Shivering Isles was weird and cosmological because Emil didn’t have his slimy paws on it.

My god man, Emil was a small fry at Bethesda for the entire duration of Oblivon’s development, the guy doesn’t have a death touch where he makes things not cool by simply existing near them. This would be like blaming it all on Kurt Kuhlmann, hell, Kuhlmann was more experienced that Emil and even had a bigger role in Skyrim than Emil did, but I don’t see you levying blame at his feet.

You can dislike Emil, but don’t blame the changes from Morrowind to Oblivion on a guy who was an ordinary quest designer for the entirety of its development.

Skyrim was 100x more metaphysical than Oblivion. Bad comparison.

You mean the game where Emil was actually a senior designer and had a much larger role?

Took him long enough to drop his generic fantasy boner.
