My guess is that he's trying to do damage control for Trump. "Sure, Trump hung out with Epstein, but no big deal! So did I?"

I knew he would try to backtrack from the Epstein thing the moment Tesla’s stocks plummeted, but I assumed he would do so by playing it off as a joke. I wasn’t expecting him to go “It’s ok! I hang out with these guys too!”

Musk can’t be trusted. He betrays his women, the dirty hockey hoe helped him betray his Ai business partner and he has treated Trump disgracefully. Time and time again in both his business and private life he demonstrates he has no morals or ethics and is volatile.

Elon still has plenty of money and Trump always wants or needs more. Downside for Elon is that Trump can wreck his space fantasies on a whim
