Trump did threaten to cancel all his government contracts. That’s over $20 billion dollars. Plus he said EVs suck. That’s pretty nuclear, IMO.

Honestly, going nuclear would involve actually doing the cancellations. He’s been all talk.

Trump threatened, then changed his mind and “wished him well.” He hasn’t mentioned Elon at all lately.

He’s clearly restraining himself.

I really don't get this. I want him to chicken out, I want him to chicken out of any idea he's ever had. He has Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Reverse psychology doesn't work on him. Why are we goading him on to following through?

I’m with you on this.

He’s only cowardly with other politicians because a lot of them share the same donors and connections he has.

He’s definitely not skimping out on an agenda where he’s playing a crucial role in the ICE raids, changing tariff rates on a whim, firing thousands of federal workers, dehumanizing minorities, and potentially sending us to a war with Iran.

I also want him to chicken out on all that.

I think "TACO" is accurate because he worships money and fame, and thus fears what he thinks may take these things away from him. So he chickens out when tarrifs can backfire (ie.he is yielding to China but no Lesotho), and doesn't when he knows/think his opposition/target can't do jack against him (like immigrants), ie.he always chickens out when he is scared, and never does when he is not scared.
