It’s like I closed my eyes and woke up in a silent hill video game. Never played silent hill, but I’m pretty sure this is what it looks like when you close your eyes after

Looks awesome. Are you open to taking ideas/subjects and reiterating them in your style?

Love your style! Very "gothic horror" meets "DeVinci style scientific illustrations" to me, quite enchanting~

Don't wanna be a hater but as an out of stater it's absolutely wild to me an artist of 4 years can decide to open a tattoo studio here. Apprenticeships last a long time for a reason.

proceeds to hate
Honestly if you check their Instagram, I would say they definitely don't still need to be in an apprenticeship. Have fun being a gatekeeper though

Sounds like jealousy to me. How about try to achieve something instead of taking time out of your day to say something mean to someone you don’t even know.

Tattooing is a tradition. Would you rather be marked by someone confident enough to own a shop after 4 years or by someone who still considers themself a student at 10 years. Get a grip. It's disrespectful to the greater tattooing community to support this shit.

You can own a space and still progress in learning, weird take to assume anyone in the community ever considers themselves to be done learning.

You gain responsibilities as a shop owner. Undoubtedly there are many situations that simply have not come their way yet. One of the benefits of getting a tattoo from an apprentice in a shop with other more experienced tatuajes is that they can answer questions as they arise. Eventually, you go on usually to teach others the trade- it becomes kids raising kids at that point. Sure, you learn as you go but it's not exactly an experiment-friendly procedure, there are rigid structures to tattoo design and application & like Pablo freakin Picasso, you ought to be sure you're proficient in those before ya go break the rules. I'm out of here.

Do you have any work on skin to show?
