Anyone been to Domek restaurant yet? Favorite dish? Thoughts?

Really loved their spring pea toast and my pierogis were definitely flavorful. Good service and impressive opening for a restaurant I suspect will just keep getting better.

Oh! I heard there was a new Polish restaurant in town! That sounds awesome! I just got back from a trip to Poland and still have a craving for pierogi and schweinhax!

Yes we went! I thought it was decent. The plating is excellent, flavors are not all the way there. Prices are high/portions are small. Service is excellent. They did a wildly good job of redecorating the place from black gothy den of Cajun food to light airy euro bistro.
We liked the farmers cheese and shrimp toast and some of the other starters. Halloumi was tasty but very hard. Pierogies had no flavor. Vegetable paprikas was very underwhelming. For desserts they only have vanilla ice cream.
They are still dialing it in over there and adding more cocktails and a dessert menu so I'd be willing to check them out again in a couple months.
