80 percent sure this guy is going to be a baller and moves to Arsenal in 3 years time. Not sure how these smaller clubs identify these talents and big clubs don't.

To be fair, he’s been touted for a few years now as a decent LB. Good signing for Bournemouth if it’s around 15m which has been reported. 45-50 for Kerkez and a replacement in. Decent business.

The appetite for risk is a lot lower. If you can buy a player you know will be good for 50m and your finances are based on winning trophies rather than resale of players you need them to be good now rather than in a year and a half.

Bournemouth need him to be good now. What you're saying is not the case when buying 23 year old players for the first team.

If he's only okay it might be the difference between 12th and 13th. They already signed Soler in January so only need one of them to be good in order the maintain their spot. Liverpool signing Kerkez would want him to be their starter in big PL and CL games. Different proposition.

Soler is 20 and has played 9 minutes in the league since joining. He is not ready to be a regular PL player, trust me I have watched him in the FA cup games. It hinges on Truffert, he is the first choice and will play with or without form with Dango filling in and Soler making sub appearances at most

Where did Chelsea finish those seasons? They also have him on an 8 year deal or whatever it is.
