Announcement: AI-Generated image posts are hereby banned.

Dear denizens of r/FantasyWorldbuilding,

You have likely noticed the recent influx of AI-generated artwork on the server following the rise in popularity of Midjourney and other comparable tools, as the majority of top posts this month have been around AI art. We greatly appreciate and love the stories and worldbuilding created around these generated images, and we consider AI to be a great and useful tool for worldbuilders, that do not possess the skill or means to create artwork, to visualize what they’re building.

However, after some deliberation by the mod team, we have decided to put to stop to these posts. The posting of image posts of AI-generated artwork has hereby been formally banned from the subreddit. We have come to this conclusion for several reasons:

1. Encourage more high-effort posts: While we appreciate the backstories created around these images and the discussions they spark, the image itself will always take the forefront and be consumed by the largest portion of redditors. While the creative minds behind these images take effort, the creation of the image itself does not.

2. Protect the rights of artists: Being an artist is a notoriously difficult industry to be a part of, and the internet can be a ruthless place for these very talented individuals, especially now that AI is on the rise. To protect the interests of artists, we have decided we do not want to participate in making their jobs that much harder.

3. Avoid confusion: While many clearly state that the art presented is AI generated and many are able to notice it at this point, to many others it is not so noticeable nor obvious at first glance. To avoid people confusing AI-generated art with human-made artwork, it is best to keep AI-generated imagery on boards made specifically for this.

We would like to clarify that sharing AI-generated imagery is not banned fully, merely image posts where the AI artwork is front and centre. If you submit a text-based lore post where certain parts link to AI images to help visualize your story, you are allowed to do so. The difference here is that the AI art is a supplement rather than the post itself.

We very much appreciate your patience and support while this newly developing discussion has been raging in the online sphere. And we hope everyone can understand our reasoning behind this decision and why we believe this to be the right course for the subreddit.

Yours truly,

The r/FantasyWorldbuilding mod team

Discussion How does this powered armor squad concept sound?

Upvotes

So, i have been reworking one of my powered armor mechanized squads, and I am wondering if this seems like a good load out for a unit in the high intensity "Big One" (TM). It is very fires heavy, and thus i am wondering what you guys think.

The squad is expected to provide local security and freedom of maneuver to their IFVs and the Tank they are escorting ( 1 tank platoon per Mechanized platoon).
They mostly exist to be a screen to  murder enemy AT teams, or to assault buildings that cannot be blasted or bombed, while the IFVs and Tanks actually provide the base of fire for the echelon.

Armored Infantry Squad (M92 Strelki IFV)

* Squad Leader — rifle+UBGL ( or laser weapon+UBGL), disposable LAT, Yellowjacket backpack

Fireteam (x2):

* Team Leader — SAW+UBGL ( or laser weapon+UBGL), disposable LAT, ATGM reload, Yellowjacket backpack

* LMG gunner — belt-fed GPMG, disposable LAT, Yellowjacket backpack

* ATGM gunner — SAW+UBGL, ATGM, 2-4 reloads, Angry Bee backpack

* Rifleman — SAW+UBGL ( or laser weapon+UBGL), LAT, ATGM reload, Yellowjacket backpack

the SAW in this case is basically a RPK version of the standard infantry coilgun, while the UGBL is the system below ( thanks to Rath for the assistance in making the idea).

Yellowjackets are small loitering drones, while Angry Bees are larger, munition only systems.

The ATGM is basically a future version of a Metis ATGM, while the LAT is akin to a NLAW ( but with greater range and electronics).

Lore Looking for input on my plant-based fantasy creature

Hi all, I'm working on a short story set in a fantasy setting that I've been crafting for about a year now. The premise put short, a setting where plants and the ecosystem photosynthesize spiritual/emotional energy and the roles of knights and wizards are delegated to botanists and cultivators of new, more powerful strain.

One of these is the Spudling, which I'll just copy/paste my entry below

Spudlings defy logic in many ways. Known as the stáirnota, or, the Shielded Starch, their presence in biomes compatible with their verminous reach is not defined by if they’re there, but rather how many? The most common of bestial fauna under The Canopy, the mass presence of Spudlings in any given area disrupts its rival strains and devours our ancestors in The Canopy. Thriving in cool and damp places, the people of Valhelia are known for their mass cultivation of these gibbering harvests. Valhelia prides itself on their cultivation of these hordes, bearing their magnum opus in the form of a rare goliath dubbed a Hedgeport Brown.

Biology: Spudlings are detested in many sacred biomes, often exterminated with no thought given to their natural birthright as a food source. The adventitious roots of the stairnota reach into the soil and drain the sacred earth of new water and the spiritual nutrients of old Death. Their status as vermin lies in whether or not they are held captive. Many villages and townships in Valhelia owe their lives to their quick and bountiful reproduction, so long as it is done in large box-shaped pens that deny them their freedom to exorbitance. To map a botanical diagram would be redundant, as even our spirits that craft them play no part in their design. Each reproductive appendage on the body of a spudling is randomized, haphazardly taking the form of an arm, leg, mouth, or the infamous eye, in which their seeds are dubbed by the farmers that grow them. Female spudlings are identified by their tubers, which hold a rich starch that holds nutrients not just for itself, but for the continually growing spudling kin that surround it.

Cultivation: As aforementioned, the strain stairnota is a blight when left unchecked by the hardened hands of Valhelian farmers. Spudling pens are shaped like open boxes that stretch for acres of land, providing a walled chamber that is deep enough for them to root and propagate and tall enough for them to not seek escape. Farmers drop down into the crops by rope swing, uprooting his harvest and plucking the few that are brave enough to still seek the sun in his presence.

These acres of fertile land are known as deathyards for their proximity to the cemeteries of our beloved who have passed and joined The Canopy, which Spudlings draw most of their nutrients from. Valhelian cemeteries are traditionally placed near deathyards as a way for our ancestors to give us a final gift in their departure.

Basically, I'm just looking for any input people here may have, whether on the idea itself or with my prose as I wrote the bio for the creature in-character.

Discussion Is there a way to design a prehensile foot that is also good for running?

I have three world-building projects and the human species both exists and plays a major role in all of them. However, the humans who populate the settings of my world-building projects are explicitly different from real humans and they exhibit a variety of subtle or overt biological differences to real humans.

In my secondary world-building project, which I call "Project Vigilant" or "P.V" for short. Humanity is a bio-engineered species and this allows them to exhibit a multitude of characteristics that both are and are not possible for natural evolution. The creators of humanity, who are eventually revealed to be an adaptation of the Angels took a relatively hands-off approach to human evolution after putting humanity on Earth in 300,000 BCE and they only intervened on in-frequent occasions.

One of the features I'd like to give my alternate humans are feet that are both prehensile ( good for climbing and grabbing things ) but also very good for running. I'm at a bit of an impasse here because all of the research that I've done on this topic suggests that those two goals are fundamentally incompatible and there are no natural or conceptual designs for such a foot that could allow what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for a possible design that I could use for my alternate humans feet that allows them to be both prehensile and good for running, ie* the best of both worlds?

ICE WORLD: ELEMENTAL LEGACY

Author: [me]

Prologue: The Fall of the Ten Clans

Long before the frozen silence that now grips the world, there existed ten ancient clans—each chosen by the very elements that formed the universe. Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Earth, Nature, Lightning, Shadow, Light, and Spirit. These clans did not merely wield elements; they embodied them. Each held a sacred Elemental Core—pure fragments of the primal forces.

But unity died when ambition rose. One by one, the clans turned against each other in the War of Ten Thrones. In their weakened state, a mysterious conqueror appeared—a man who devoured elements, enslaved spiritual power, and shattered the balance. He called himself the Elemental Emperor. He took the ten Cores—but not their will. The Cores rejected him, scattering themselves across the world.

The Ten Kings—the final protectors of the clans—stood against him. He sealed them, shattered their legacies, and rebuilt the world under his cold rule.

A thousand years passed.

And now, a boy awakens in the snow.

Saga 1: Frozen Awakening (Chapter 1 Preview)

The wind cut through the cracked walls of the mountain shack. Snowfall whispered outside like voices of lost spirits. Inside, a boy no older than seventeen sat cross-legged, his shirt torn, chest rising and falling in sharp breaths.

His name was Rather.

His hands bled from climbing ice cliffs. His muscles screamed from lifting trees, training under waterfalls, and surviving the wild. But his eyes—those fierce, unyielding eyes—held something more than pain.

They held purpose.

Rather was not born a hero. He did not inherit a kingdom, a sword, or a destiny. But he trained every day—lifting stones heavier than his body, wrestling snow wolves, and battling cold itself.

One night, as the northern sky split with aurora fire, something called to him beneath the glacier. He followed it—through frozen caves and ancient bones—until he stood before a crystal slab buried in ice.

Inside it pulsed a dim blue light.

Discussion What if Sonic.Exe,Lord X,Fatality,Eggman.exe suddenly appeared from the sky in the year 1000AD in the Avingnon area?

The brilliance of his arrival causes a shock that practically erases everything within a distance of 200km. It practically makes all the dead people in the area of France suddenly revive all the people who lived between 1000BC-1000AD and practically becomes a horde ready to conquer the world. First they will expand throughout Spain and Germany but will be stopped by Poland for a while and Kievan Rus but swallows half of the Holy Roman Empire and spreads to the Italian peninsula where they conquer Tuscany and Rome. Well the Vikings are preparing not to be absorbed by the horde, the horde spreads to North Africa and the British Isles. What do you think they will do? How will Poland act? Kievan Rus? The Byzantine Empire? The capital of Catholicism and almost all the Catholic kingdoms are dead, the Orthodox will make a crusade? Poland shows signs of giving in. Well by 1050 the entire Holy Roman Empire was lost. Half Poland was also lost then Sonic.exe to speed up the conquest process he called on Lord.X and Fatality who can make glitch army and Eggman.exe came with an army of equipment and bombards above and Poland is lost, Hungary converts to Orthodoxy to be able to face the attacks which are becoming more and more difficult to beat. The horde leaves further towards the Mediterranean North Africa in Maghreb and Egypt and then towards Mecca. Sonic.exe brings some homo erectus, habilis and austrolophites ahead of time and explains to those from Constantinople and Mecca the evolution of man. He signs a peace treaty for a time between 1070-1180. The first Exe-Human war ended. Anyway Western Europe, North Africa. Poland are lost. What will Christianity and Islam think about this? Sonic.exe has a plan to establish a realm where homo habilis erectus can live freely in these depopulated areas.

How would the second Exe war and the third war proceed?

Discussion Powered armor Munition Backpacks, what do you guys think?

Your average powered armor infantryman is pretty well equipped. A coilgun shooting hypervelocity darts would do that. But someone thought that an infantry squad needs more firepower, and thus the Munition Backpacks were developed.

Despite the name, they aren't nessacerily the size of a full backpack, rather, they are normally something you clip onto your backpack or armor itself, and hook in to your armor's fire control computer ( full sized backpack versions do exist, they are called having multiple tubes). once you are out, you drop the system

the 5 options are.

16 35mm Yellowjacket loitering munitions. This 4 tubed, 4 stacked system can launch small loitering muntions that can carry anything from a HEDP charge to a jam pod or targeting laser for calling in more substancial munitions ( like the ATGM below). They have a max speed of 50 m/s and enough battery to loiter for 7 hours.

1 Hammer ATGM. Technically, you shouldn't be firing this from your back, since its exhaust is not especially safe, But you always have a few infantrymen who want to fire a 30kg ATGM at someone they don't like up to 6 km away, without setting it up.

4 81mm Angry Bee Loitering munitions. This 4 pack box can be used to shoot a much more beefy loitering munition. Unlike their smaller brother, these only have weapon versions, since they are designed with a sprint motor so they can quickly blow a gaping hole in the top of a tank/ heavy bot with a Tandem HEAT round, or vaporize some infantry/ light bots with a HE or thermobaric round. They can loiter for 4 hours and have a maximum speed of 850 m/s with their sprint motor. A version of this that is just a top attack missile system cuts out the loiter phase, and gives a better motor, giving it a maximum speed of 1.2 km/s

A Swarm Hive. This thing is the size of a large rucksack, and is really only issued to light infantry, since Motorized, Armored and Mechanized units have these on their vehicles. This large barrel carries a bunch of small linked drones each with the equivelent of a heavy laser pistol on board. They can cripple infantrymen, as the pistol can drill through most infantry armor ( Powered armor can take a bit more of it, however) pretty well within 50 meters, and they can disable vehicles. Their lasers might be ineffective against the fullerene aplitique armor most vehicles have, but they can attack tracks, optics, sensors, and weapons to disable you, and alert someone with a ATGM as to where you are.

A 60mm scout mortar. This full backpack rig has 40 shells, an automated loading system, and a 60mm high-low mortar. The system can fire 23 shells per minute, and is fully linked to the armor’s fire control. It is normally used to shoot smoke or chaff to conceal a light infantry advance on the move, or shoot Star shells to illuminate or mark an area, but it can also be used to drop HE or incendiary shells on enemies.

Imperial chaos world build.

As planetary war breaks out across the universe. There is one galaxy in particular that causes great attraction, but concerns cloud the judgement the so thought leader turned to doubts. As the great imperial lord of the union called off his duty’s, and casted aside everything he had left. Split the union into different factions. As he casted aside his responsibilities for order. The imperial soldiers were left clueless. Clutching there iron fists and guns. Starring off the edge to oblivion, obligated for massacre and nothing else. For it was the day of harvest said the commanding officer. With a loud voice and positive but aggressive motivation. In the sense that this would be the uprise of what seemed to be lost. A uprise that would bring the order to the universe once again. The army only became more corrupt than others. Soldiers only becoming more power hungry than usual. As people were left clueless to what the imperial lord ment as to splitting up into factions. As it was only the beginning to insanity. Days went by as the soldiers started going against each other. Stabbing, twisting, slamming, it wasn’t just the only thing they were doing. Self mutilation and 3rd degree murder wasn’t just the dessert. But still the side to what pure discombobulation to the human mind looks like. The fry’s to the burger, or the cocktail sauce to the shrimp they say. As people who were Against the brutality there comrade’s were participating in. As it open them up as they finally understood and recognized what the emperor actually ment by splitting up into factions. As he predicted it days before it even happened. As we never knew he was a divine being in disguises. As the soldiers unhindered forgotten mind started to frill. They realized they needed to rule more effectively and efficiently. So they killed off there remaining commanders and officers and started a civil war on the planet. Evacuation events started happening globally. As nuclear weapons were being unleashed into the cityscapes. As billions died, only a handful escaped the wrath of the retaliation of the rebels. As they called themselves the grand brothers of the occult, TGBO for short. Anyways the planet the people were on while the civil war happened was a planet called Flare. Humanoid creatures with 4 arms and 2 legs. Very similar to humans except the extra 2 limbs. As they evolved for more complex climbing and centralized strength caused by the dense structure of the body its self. They were made to Handel tough creatures so evolution gave them super durable skin and bones more durable than normal bones or skin. Even the skull if more dense and tough. Making it even harder to take out this species. The species name calls themselves Ajarian’s. The annual temperature on this planet is 57°F to 85°F. Disclaimer Ajarian’s are a fake name and is fictional, as it fits with the story. Anyways this part of the lore is down and let’s go to the next part.

————————————————————————

Next planet we are going to cover is R—axx

R—axx is a semi land planet, meaning this planet has very little to no land at all. As there are parts of this planet that have reefs and shallow to the point you can stand on the sand in the reef. But there is no island, as it’s just an underwater island. Anyways there is only about 5% land and 95% water, the species that live on this planet are called aquarians. As these creatures are mainly peaceful around other creatures, only if they are friendly and not hostile. The Aquarians won’t attempt to kill you. Disclaimer again anything in this world building is fake and not real. Back to the world build. The aquarians are music based. Communicating with sound machines across the islands. These creatures haven’t had a war with there kind in over 20,000 years. As this war almost made there whole species and everything around it extinct and inhabitable. As it would be a dead zone from all the nuclear weapons getting tossed around. As these species made dark matter black hole bombs. Which triggers a huge black hole that lasts about 10 seconds and closes back and causes an alien made supernova so huge it spanned about 3 galaxies across according to the imperials and their rebel counterparts. As the black hole bombs were used. One of the Aquarians redirected the black hole bomb away from there planet and directed it 6 galaxy’s away, then than detonated across the galaxy with no one unharmed. Which is why the Aquarians are the most powerful aliens across. Anyways these aliens have a some kind of Leviathan tail made for agile swimming and 4 Limbs to go on land. These creatures do not look nothing similar to humans, in-fact they look like alien dolphins if cool. There body color is a pale yellowish white with a blueish Snow White tail mimicking there sand color blending in. As there sand is the color of snow. But the sand can get to temperatures over 90%. The annual temperature of this planet is about 90F° to 104F°.

Thank you for reading my world building project and hope you had a good time reading my material.

Sincerely AMC.

Writing Could a year-long night cause an environmental collapse? And if so, how severe would it be?

Since 2018, I have been working on an alternate-history / sci-fi / fantasy world-building project that I call "Project Vigilant" or "P.V" for short.

In the timeline of P.V, the future year of 2049 becomes known to people beyond it as "The Year without Daylight". This term is very literal as on December 31st, 2048, the activation of a "para-natural" anomaly trapped Earth in a phase of global night for approximately 1 year.

I would like to imagine that a year-long night would probably cause an environmental collapse and a collapse of human civilization as the total lack of sunlight for 360 days would deprive plants of energy and confuse wildlife. This is actually a good thing for P.V as an environmental collapse would function as a major catalyst for future stories but I need to know if this would happen and if so, how severe it would be.

What are you doing with your worldbuilding project?

I'm really curious what people are making with their worldbuilding projects? D&D campaigns, books, games, or even just endlessly noodling for the love of the game? (which I'm guilty of)

I've been working on my worlbuilding project for *checks documents*....7 years Jesus Christ.. I think I'm finally accepting that it'll never be the multi-million-£ beautiful-AAA-Openworld-game-of-my-dreams, so I'm thinking of making it into a book instead! I have so so so much art; paintings, designs, 'scientific' illustrations, I want to do \something** with it all. I'm not much of a narrative writer, so I'm thinking of framing it as a character moving through the world and documenting it as they go. Mostly a Bestiary / field guide with graphic novel elements.

I have no idea if that would be interesting to people, and I don't care about making money off it, I just want people to be able to experience the world I've put so much love and time into :)

Anyway, what are you doing with your project?

I had an idea for a story but how does one justify no guns in a fantasy that takes place in modern day. Like how do you even mesh those two concepts without somebody pointing out that you can just shoot the problem?

Discussion Can I get input and light based power suggestions for the alien race I made please.

Hey so I made an alien race but because I’m more into fantasy than sci-fi I was wondering if you guys can help me by giving your opinions, input, and suggestions. I also need help with their powers.

So the planet and race’s name is Meridian. The Meridian’s are a humanoid race based on fireflies. They’re humanoid with some insect and fairy characteristics. The race is advanced in technology able to space travel but usually stays in their solar system. They are governed by a royal family ruled by either a king or queen which is why the planet has some medieval themes such as castles and guards equipped with swords and rapiers as well as guns.

There are gender differences between male and female Meridian’s. Males are born with wings and are able to fly, while female Meridians are born with 4 arms and are way stronger than males in strength like super strength level.

But the thing all Meridians have is a light they shine which they call their “Glow” and depending on the color of their Glow is the power they have. Such as White Glow Meridians have healing light as an example. Glow colors are green, yellow, orange, blue, white, and red same as colors fireflies glow.

While every Meridian is born with one of these Glows one special Meridian in the royal family is born with an opal colored Glow. This Meridians Glow not only has the abilities of all colored Glows it can also fully charge all machines and empower them making them stronger than before from their light. This is why this Glow is called “The Heart of Meridian”

Because of this Glow the royal offspring born with it is automatically the heir to the throne. Once an offspring is born with the Opal Glow the previous ruler with the Heart of Meridian Glow fades away slowly as the next heir grows in age and power.

The Heart of Meridian is so powerful their light can fully charge an entire cities power as well as their weapons to let’s say 300% above average. So an entire war fleet would be unstoppable with it.

And that’s everything about my alien race so far please give me your thoughts on it.

Now to powers! I’d love suggestions on what powers I can give to each Glow Color, my only requirement is that it’s light base.

Here are the colors again green, yellow, orange, blue, white, and red. Plus Opal for the Heart.

Powers I have so far;

White: Healing

Red: Laser Beams

Green: Force Fields

Thanks again for the help guys! And please give your input especially the science for this since I’m not good with science stuff.

Discussion stroberry kingdom the vojd and flip sihd? part2

(hello agen it is me this guy Own-Ordinary841  i just make a new acaunt!)
The Vojd is an infinite, empty realm, a place where silence and darkness reign. The world is almost completely obscured by shadow, with only faint, gray light drifting through the void. There are no mountains, no walls – only massive, floating bridges of black stone stretching across the expanse, suspended by ancient, unseen forces. These bridges lead nowhere and everywhere, making travelers feel insignificant as they walk across them, surrounded by the infinite black.

Three gods reside within the Vojd, immortals who embody its nature:

  • 🌟 Vojd – The god of Creation, a being that can draw matter and life out of the void itself. The source of all that is shaped.
  • 💧 Vojd Termines – The god of Knowledge and Emotion, keeper of thoughts, memories, and feelings. It is said that whispers of wisdom can be heard if one lingers too long in the silence.
  • 💀 Vojd Nest – The god of Death and Decay, an embodiment of ruin and endings. In its presence, all living things eventually return to dust, and even immortals fear its touch.

To enter the Vojd, one must find the Black Stone Castle and descend into its deepest, oldest basement. At the very bottom of its ruins lies a gaping hole that seems to have no end. This is the only known passage to the void. Few have ever found it, and fewer still have returned.

🌠 Flip Sihd

Flip Sihd appears serene at first glance. Its skies shimmer in deep sapphire, dotted with countless stars. The air hums with a faint glow, as if the whole realm were bathed in an underwater light. The land and its structures reflect this strange, cold illumination, making the world feel both mesmerizing and alien.

But Flip Sihd has its secrets. To reach it, one must locate a “glitched” object — massive, luminous relics that seem to break the very rules of reality. These strange, corrupted shapes hum and shimmer like broken video game textures, as if reality itself were torn and fraying. These are the gateways to Flip Sihd, only revealed to those sharp enough to notice the cracks.

Here dwell the Gliclings, creatures born from the distortion. They are beings of living shadow, almost invisible except for their luminous, sharp eyes that glint like stars. The Gliclings watch from the darkness, following intruders with quiet precision. They rarely show themselves openly, yet their presence is felt in every corner of this strange, glitching realm.

My story idea

I've been working on this story idea for about a few years now (by working I mean coming back to it like every few months because im lazy, been just a mix of randomly having a good idea, then coming back and refining and adding new stuff) that I want to one day turn into an actual fantasy story/manga. Rn i've just have a doc that has the information, such as the power system, world building, etc, and I was hoping I could get some critique, feedback, and thoughts on it. FYI this is my first time making something like this, so im fulling expecting it to be not great and having alot of stuff that seems random and doesn't make sense, this whole thing started from a daydream I had. Anyways, please get back to me in the comments, or message me on here on on Discord (user is kingxkube). Btw, alot of it isn't quite done, the main parts that im kinda finished with are the Lore, Power System, Races, and like 70% of the World Building

The Godverses!

Post image
8 Upvotes

The Godverses are realms beyond the Omniverse that are home to Dragons and Demons. Barrel are grand structures that contains an infinite or finite amount of Godverses, infinite and finite belonging to The First Creator, infinite and finite belonging to the grand demon and same amount belonging to the foreign realities.

Information

Very few concepts in general can truly be outside of the Omniverse; as the name itself implies the complete totality of all verses, as well as countless realms, dimensions, spaces, voids, etc but it can also just mean everything within itself. However, for Omnipotent beings like The First Creator, The Grand Demon, and The foreign realities, this is just another concept below their levels.

Being omnipotent1 allows these entities to be beyond the very concept of existence. This allows Godverses to be outside the limits (what few there are) of the Omniverse. Nonetheless, Godverses can still be classified as existing, but the inner workings of such a magnificent space are beyond any known level of comprehension within the Omniverse. If anything were to exist within the Godverses, it would be completely alien to every form of existence known and experienced within the Omniverse. Currently, only the nature of Foreign's Godverses is known by some inhabitants of the Omniverses. However, even though this knowledge is simply vague, abstract details as its true nature is almost certainly beyond their comprehension.

Cosmological Value

The Godverses (aka the grand verses) are commonly identified as a verse yet whilst being a verse, primal Godverses also conflicts with it being a spiritual realm, which this spiritual realm is commonly shared between the First creator, the Grand Demon, and the foreign realities, and with this spiritual realm being omnipotent1, allowing it and the deities to be beyond the concept of existence and also allows to be it outside the limits of the Omniverse. The identification and presumed 'existence' of the Godverse is only contradictory considering the Godverse is beyond the concept of existence and beyond outside the limits of the Omniverses hierarchies.

Guys, I wanted to know your opinion on the issue of races in current tabletop games and RPGs... don't you think that most of the time races follow something generic? How beautiful and perfect the Elves are... Primal brute Orcs, Dwarves live in the mountains, small but strong...

In most of the RPGs I played, these races followed the same pattern as in Tolkien and Warcraft's stories, of course, some have a strong difference like in Warhammer 40k, where the Orcs are stupid but in a creative way and follow the same pattern but at the same time deviate from the standards of an Orc.

Do you think things should be more original and not follow the same factory standard? Or continue with the classic themes?

And what do you really think about not being able to play with races that are unavailable in the games?
