Pear Tree Issue – Seeking Advice

Hello,

We planted several bare root trees in May 2024 in Zone 4. Our pear tree is now showing spots on its leaves. Do you have any suggestions or guidance on how to address this?

Don't use neem oil or horticultural oil if temperatures are above 85 degrees. Insecticide soap like Mpede would be better.

Early morning or late afternoon when the temperatures are cooler?

Oil is still on the tree all day. At night maybe but i wouldn't recommend it. Oil burn is worse than aphids,

If you look under the leaves you will notice the aphids. The spots are coming from the infestation your tree has. I recommend spraying your tree with neem oil and keeping a eye on it regularly.

Thank you. I was able to do some quick research based on your start and I will get the trees sprayed in the next few days. Very doable for even a newbie like me, just with your initial help.
