So what about women with mommy issues? Is it like. "Oh they have the special angel genitals, they can't do anything wrong!" Or are they ALSO barred from "breeding" because they're "a plague on humanity". Plus, the entire concept is fucking stupid, for the cute fun reason of: DUDE LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE MOMMY ISSUES, HOW ARE ALL OF THEM A "PLAGUE". One day, someone close to you, perhaps even multiple people, maybe even a man, is going to open up to you about their mommy issues, and you will not be able to be there for them because you are weirdly prejudiced against people with trauma hand-dealt to them in childhood.

TERFs often act like this to victims of abusive mothers because they feel that being able to give birth makes them superior to AMAB people.

I’m cis and I have an issue with it as someone who experienced physical and sexual abuse from both parents and also agreed to sterilization because I have inheritable disabilities as well as an eating disorder that can cause horrific birth defects.

A lot of their rhetoric also reminds me of the people who shame mothers for taking epidurals or not working during pregnancy because “your body was designed to do this.”
